How do we turn Die-nasty back into Dynasty?

OFFENSIVE LINE – Put Vollmer in the starting line and make the whole line fight for their jobs. Brady was pressured way too much. Light, Mankins, Koppen, Neal and Kaczur are getting sloppy and just plain lazy. They've lost more than a step or two. It's time for a change. Granted, they've worked together for awhile. But then again, maybe that's the problem. Time to mix it up.

TIGHT ENDS – that can block, run, and catch are a commodity. Baker was essentially a WR after
Galloway left. Neither he nor Watson were spectacular, though. Job fight.

RB by COMMITTEE – Maroney = Out. BenJarvus Green-Ellis = move-up to the 45-man. Ad another RB on the 53-man, preferable someone with some versatility, like a special-teamer. And add another to the P-Squad.

QB seems wrapped up. Give Hoyer mucho playing time, say after Brady leaves with a three-score lead. Develop Eldman & Stanback as possible backups, and keep another dedicated QB on the PQ.

WR – Randy is good. He was great. But that may be in the past. We need an explosive WR to take over for Randy, when it's time. We also need a backup to Welker. Edelman seems like that man, as he's already seen as the mini-me to Wes. He's our #4.
That leaves a dedicated 3rd receiver. We ain't got one. Edelman's good but like Welker, he's a midget. And, I've seen him out of breadth a number of times. We need someone who can go long consistently. And – I know that this is football but – we need someone who can dunk it. Moss is 6'4” and played basketball. That's what we need in our 3rd-take-over-and-be-1st when Randy fades. Someone like that will give Brady and the O-line some breathing room.
(Ditto on who we choose to add to the RB corp.)
Our remaining WR's need to fight it out. Basically, they should be KR's & PR's, and other special teamers. I thought that Slater was just that, but wonder what's going on with him?

D-FENCE –
That's just what we need – a Fence. Getting rid of Seymour was a Bonehead move. Now we need to replace him. He took up two men and freed up the OL to get to the QB. Wilfork still seems good, but he's got a shelf-life. Warren has been ho-humming it. Basically, we need a showdown at the OK. All seven positions of our D-Line are up for grabs. The OLB's & the ILB's need new blood. Thomas = a definite O.U.T. Mayo, may need to be passed.
We lost some good people on the defense – starters and backups. We've got to fill those positions with quality, as opposed to quantity.

CORNERBACKS & SAFTIES = We're in trouble. Asante Samuel was the best we had. We've got some good guys right now. But, we don't have anyone great. We need a CB that can shut it down all by his lonesome.
Think of it like this: What do we do if the opposition throws in 4-WR's?
What do we do if they throw-in two RB's, one behind the other? Or an O-Lineman who can run and lead a path for a good RB?
Did I say, “We're in trouble”?
We didn't win the Superbowl, so something's wrong.

SPECIAL TEAMS
Hey kicking is okay. Not Vinitieri, but okay. But, the Red Zone! You gotta be kiddin' me? Here's where Vrabel, and the old squad are missed. We need definite touchdowns & shutdowns, not “we'll-do-our-best”s. We need a defense who scores a respectable percentage of our point. We need an Offense that is offensive not atrocious. All around we need play-makers, starting with every aspect of the Special Teamers, on up to the Front Office.

COACHING –
They suck! Player Personnel? Offensive Coord.? Defensive Coord.? QB-WR coach? Maybe Belichick needs to take a year off?

What do you think we need?
"You have to put the work in.
Nothing is given."
