Friend is in LA, need some help!

Post#1 » by Waynelophoto » Mon Jan 18, 2010 11:07 am

Hi guys,

My friend is currently in LA for business trip, not sure if he has time but I've asked him to get me a few Lakers gear.

He is currently staying some where on South Hope Street LA California. I guess my question is, are there any NBA stores nearby where he lives?

I want to get some tshirts and maybe some hoodie :D

Cheers,

Tell him to look for a Mall nearby because when I was in Burbank, there was a huge Mall with everything and Lakers gear everywhere.

I also bought some gear from the LA Store at Staples, but it's way too expensive there. In Santa Monica there's the Addidas store with qualitative Lakers gear cheaper than at Staples.

Freeways can help too if you have a car. lol

You can go to the Crenshaw Mall, its only about 5 miles from where you are.

Your dude is about 4 blocks from Staples. There's a store there, with streetside access.

For cheaper, there are blocks and blocks of ma and pa storefronts, Latino Korean etc, all along Washington, electronics luggage etc, and some of them are clothing ones - probably will have Laker's gear. Also walking distance- although it'll be a hike.

At Staples you have the team store... a little over priced, BUT if he is a tourist, send him over to Universal City Walk, have him pay $39 to fake sky dive in a tube over a big fan (more fun thanb it sounds), then have him walk into the team LA sports store with a wicked hair style (so he looks cool like Gile in Street Fighter II) then send him up to howl at the moon dueling pianos and order a bucket of margaritas to get him wasted and so he can meet a girl (since the girls love crazy hair).

My advice
Lakers are 22-3 in OT last 6 seasons:Kobe best OT closer!

NBA.com has all the stuff you can ever need. Or Lakers.com. Some good close out prices. I always wait a few months after we win it all and things gp way down. Staples is very expensive. Wall Mart has Lakers hats and shirts from 5 dollars and up.
