Wallace, Brown to compete in Dunk contest!

Post#1 » by Olajuwon34 » Mon Jan 18, 2010 4:59 pm

No Lebron but really surprised at GW being in it he can get up there though it'd be awesome if he can win that and be in the allstar game!

Shannon Brown and Derozen will both be fun to watch though!

Huh?!??!?!

Where the heck did this come from? Talk about left field!!

it would be pretty awesome if he could get up and win the thing, but I'm wondering if he is a better in game dunker these days than a "show time" dunker?

He could prove he is TOP 10 all time NBA athlete...

WTF, fans are voting?! So a Laker, a Knick and it is designed the way Le Bron cfan join at the last minute... What a shame.

this is the most random bobcats news ive seen in a long time.

yeah, crash did it back was a king.

i dont see crash being the creative, showman type to do well in this contest. i think instead they should let crash try to block everyones dunks.

i'm still mad they never invited twiggy to the dunk contest.

but anyway... great news. more pub for crash.

wow, this is out of no where. I wonder what we'll see. Shannon Brown should be fun to watch too.

Honestly, I feel like the most likely guy to be in it on our team was Gerald Henderson. It seems like that guy can get up there for his size.

crash will probably come out there with a serious look, no expression, dunk, no expression and then go sit down, no expression.

Now THAT would be something to see!!

Gawd I hope Crash doesn't get Felts involved in any dunks that require alley's!!

Totally agree - plus he's young. Usually it's young guys that get to have a go....................and Nate Robinson.

The more I think about it the less geeked I am about him being in it. The dunk contest is a bit of a gong show these days. I liked it back when MJ and Dominique and Spud were doing their thing, but seeing all the BS with the last few years has turned me off.

There has been some nice stuff (the Iggy from behind the back board and the Gerald Green cup cake spring to mind) but all in all the phone box stuff and the kryptonite stuff has just been a farce IMO.

Crash is better than all that side show freak stuff. Leave that up to the kids trying to make a name for themselves.

Crash has already made his mark.

To me, this is the NBA making sure a deserving All-Star is involved in All-Star weekend that might otherwise not make it. Good posts Fats. Wallace guarding the rim in this contest would be great to see and I'm upset we never saw Hollins' frog dunk.

This thing was much better when they had more than 4 friggin guys in it. Why not a full 8 man roster and ditch the stupid skills challenge or whatever else they do now?

Memories of Grandmama are coming to mind of the 91 or 92 dunk contest.... sigh

hope gerald is okay to compete in the dunk contest and more importantly healthy enough to not miss too many or any games at all from this ankle injury
