I don't.
They have no running game (in fact our running game is better), no defense (they're ranked 26th), lost to a mediocre team (Arizona), and are now 3 games behind us.
We, meanwhile, have a future Hall of Fame quarterback (aided by countless dangerous receivers), a great defense, and we might actually have a running game now.
Are the Lions playoff contenders? Certainly. They're 6-4, have a good pass offense, and play in a very weak conference. But for the division? Hell no, IMO.
Does anyone here consider Detroit to be a legitimate threat?

I am nervous about the Thanksgiving game because of the short week. I just think that it means that anything can happen but I just hope that our coach does a better job of preparation than Marinelli. I also wonder if the Lions were looking ahead to the Thanksgiving game, and thats why they didn't execute today.

Are they a threat - NO
Am I a little worried about the game on Thursday - YES
1) The Packers might get caught up in the NFC matchup of the year the following week @ Dallas.
2) Favre is 7-9 against the Lions on the road - just never seems to play well in the dome, regardless of how good the Packers were and how bad the Lions were, we seemed to choke out a loss.
I'm confident the Packers will win, but I don't think it will be a gimme win.

Past 5 years we're 3-2 in Detroit and have alternated wins and losses there for the past 5 years, we won there last year.

we are such a young team....how many of our players have even played against the Lions on turkey day? We haven't been there in awhile.
But every game is very important.
We shouldn't look past any game.
I want Home field through out the playoffs.
We need to start a new tradition of not loosing at home in the playoffs.
