Re: GM A Team 2010 Winter - Trades
The Nuggets and the Rockets have a deal to announce:
Denver sends:
Kenyon Martin $15,863,636
Houston sends:
Andrei Kirilenko $16,452,000
Denver accepts, we like Kirilenko's defensive abilities and ability to play multiple positions. We feel that he will compliment Carmelo Anthony's game.

Re: GM A Team 2010 Winter - Trades
Houston Accepts.
For 2 reasons, well three reasons. First, this deal saves us almost a million bucks this year and a million bucks next year. Which is 2 million and 2 million with the LUX. AK and Kmart both expire in 2011 so neither of us take back massive amounts of salary over the LONG hall. But the main reason i did this deal is post defense. Everyone know our franchise player BOOZER isnt the best defender.... Kmart on the other hand can guard bigs in the post... Heck he even shut down Lebron at the end of one game hahaha... but in all fairness He can play part time center and be a better 4 man comming of the bench then AK. And for the third reason... Toughness.... thats all. Good dealing with you DENVER.

Deal works, but has to be worded a little better.

Re: GM A Team 2010 Winter - Trades
Phoenix Suns and San Antonio Spurs have a deal to announce:
Phoenix Trade:
SF - Corey Maggette - $8,937,931
SF - Dorell Wright - $2,700,000
PG - Goran Dragic - $1,836,000
San Antonio Spurs Trade:
SF - Richard Jefferson - $14,200,000
Phoenix does this trade to help progress towards a 2011 rebuild. Richard Jefferson will be less productive than Maggette/Wright & Dragic combined, but given the depth already at the forward and guard positions, we should not sacrifice too much on the court in the meantime.
Phoenix Accepts

Spurs Accept. We acquire a young asset in Dragic, who I personally believe will be one of the best point guards in the future looking at his agility, ball handling and play making skills. He is a decent midrange shooter, can draw fouls and is young, and can therefore bring some energy off the bench. Corey Maggette is a better shooter than jefferson, better contract and is doing relatively well compared to jefferson so having him as our starting SF fits the current plans of this organization pretty well.

Re: GM A Team 2010 Winter - Trades
Edit - I cut PJ Brown before the deal.
The Chicago Bulls, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Charlotte Bobcats have agreed upon a trade.
The Bobcats send Acie Law ($2,216,160), Brian Scalebrine ($3,413,793), Jose Juan Barea (1,657,500), and Brad Miller (12,250,000) in exchange for Mo Williams ($8,860,000) James Posey ($6,031,800), Fabricio Oberto ($1,990,000), and 2012 Chicago 2nd. .
Bobcats Outgoing: $19,537,453
Bobcats Incoming: $16,881,800 X 1.25 = $21,022,250 > $19,537,453
Deal Works!
The Cavaliers send Anthony Parker ($2,664,231), Fabricio Oberto ($1,990,000), and Mo Williams ($8,860,000) in exchange for Jason Richardson ($13,333,332), Jose Juan Barea (1,657,500), and Chucky Atkins ($825,497).
Cavaliers Outgoing: $13,514,231 X 1.25 = $16,892,788 > $15,816,329
Cavaliers Incoming: $15,816,329
Deal Works!
The Bulls send Jason Richardson ($13,333,332), James Posey ($6,031,800), Chucky Atkins (825,497) and 2012 2nd Rounder in exchange for Anthony Parker ($2,664,231), Acie Law ($2,216,160), Brian Scalebrine ($3,413,793), and Brad Miller (12,250,000).
Bulls Outgoing: $20,190,629
Bulls Incoming: $20,544,184
Deal Works!
Bulls accept. It was tough for us to do, as we like Richardson, and his fit on this team, but unfortunately he doesn't fit with the direction in which we're going, and don't see him in our long term plans. Here we get some pieces that can help contribute now, but also give us more financial flexibility in the future.

Re: GM A Team 2010 Winter - Trades
Bobcats accept. Mo Williams is an elite shooter at PG which is exactly what I need with plenty of guys that can defend and drive the lane. I pick him up for pretty much nothing here, and although Posey has some years left on his deal I'm sure some team will want to pick him up for expirings for the playoff run. My core now has 4 significant pieces in Mo, J-Ho (still on the block), Crash and Horford. I'd still like to move Howard for a SG whose style offensively doesn't conflict with Wallace's; he needs plenty of space to get into the lane and wreak havoc.

Cavs accept. With the addition of Baron, Mo wasn't needed anymore. We get J-Rich to start at SG, and Barea gives us a solid backup PG. AI now becomes our 6th man.
All this trading with the elite of the game is really getting to me... hopefully it works out lol...

Re: GM A Team 2010 Winter - Trades
The Indiana Pacers and Golden State Warriors have a trade to announce.
Indiana Pacers Trade:
PG A.J. Price $457,588
SF Andre Iguodala $12,200,000
C DeSagana Diop $6,031,800
Golden State Warriors Trade:
SG Quentin Richardson $8,700,000
SF James Jones $4,330,000
SF Anthony Randolph $1,837,560
PF Brandan Wright $2,671,440
The Pacers accept.
While it is hard to trade away Andre Iguodala, whom I traded the face of my franchise for, I feel like I'm getting a great package. In this deal, I get some cap relief in the form of Quentin Richardson's expiring contract and James Jones' unguaranteed contract. And I get a great prospect who I think is ready to break out in a big way and in a sense I see him as a similar player to Kevin Durant. I also get a young big man who still has a lot promise, but injuries have derailed him the last couple of years. The Pacers also take off DeSagana Diop's burden of a contract off our cap.

Golden State accepts. With the addition of Beasley here, Anthony Randolph was available to be moved. We love the future going forward with Jennings/Iggy/Beasley. We also liked Wright, but didn't want to wait for him to get healthy. We wish AR and Wright success in Indy and welcome in Iggy (..and those other guys).

The Nuggets and the Rockets have come to an agreement on a deal.
Denver sends:
JR Smith $6,171,426
Joel Przybilla $6,857,725
2010 2nd Chi/Por

Houston sends:
Ben Gordon $10,000,000
Chuck Hayes $2,147,750
Denver accepts. We like Gordon's ability to play both Guard positions and we feel that putting him next to Carmelo Anthony will alleviate pressure off both of them. We also like Chuck Hayes' defense and hustle. Sad to lose JR but we feel that this is a good move for the long term growth of our team.

10.31033 x 1.25 = 12.88, so salary obviously works
Memphis accepts.
It is very difficult to let two players go that we had hoped we would major parts of our team for years to come, but acquiring a player of Granger's caliber was too difficult to pass up for us. We wish Gasol and Rudy the best of luck on their new teams, and look forward to our franchise being led by a dominant wing combo in Mayo/Granger for much of this decade. It also allows Thabeet to get increased playing time and develop into the player we hope he becomes.

Trade One: The Bulls trade Louis Amundson, and Lindsey Hunter to the Magic for free. It works, as they're both minimum contracts and the Magic have enough roster spots to take on both players.
Trade Two: The Bulls trade Chris Paul ($13,520,500), and Emeka Okafor ($10,797,500) in exchange for Rodney Stuckey ($1,805,040), PJ Brown($825,497), Chucky Atkins ($825,497), Ryan Anderson ($1,317,120), and Dwight Howard ($15,202,590).
Chicago Outgoing/Orlando Incoming: $24,048,000
Orlando Outgoing/Chicago Incoming: $19,975,744 X 1.25 = $24,969,680
Deal Works!
Trade Three: The Bulls trade Ryan Anderson immediately to the Orlando Magic for a part of their TPE received in the Hedo Turkoglu deal.
The Bulls accept, this was real tough for us. We give up the best PG in the game, and a legitimate C, whom we hoped to build a contending team around. But I was bored out of my mind, and looking for a different challenge. Here we sort of start over with the best C in the game, and get a nice combo guard back in exchange for Okafor.
We're excited to add a floor general like CP ,and while we'll miss Dwight, we're confident that we're heading in the right Direction.
Trades 1 and 2 approved.
The Ryan Anderson part is illegal as stated before.
