As captain of this team, Paul Pierce needs to rip these guys a new ass...this is pathetic..our effort is pathetic..we have 'blackouts' every game..Cleveland and LA don't have blackouts..they need to realize that nobody is afraid of them anymore. They can't just take naps during games, and think they can make miracle comebacks in the 4th...they aren't as good anymore..if they play 48 minutes of Celtics basketball, they will kill people..but right now they are playing less than 20 minutes of Celtics basketball..that's not enough...

well red2 there's your walker and giddens combo

seriously I don't know how many of you have the Tommy/Mike broadcast but Tommy just hit the nail on the head. remember 08, the intensity, every possession, playing with a purpose.....locked in? Savor that. F this. I don't know why but this game has pissed me off royally.

I actually did something I have not done in years: I shut the game off in the 3rd. After Dirk hit that jumper with around 5 minutes left to put the Mavs up by 3 I knew this game was over.

Also, let me guess: Since Ray Allen started off strong I am assuming he did not do **** the last 16 minutes of the game after I shut it off, correct?

I know you people will call me joebiscuit but I am just so sick of this 2nd half collapses I simply did not want to sit though the frustration. Watching this team in the 2nd half is as frustrating as having a dream where someone chasing you and your legs do not work.
Reggie stood out like a sore thumb no tattoos no agenda no chirping nothing Just a guy who could score at will He played college ball at Northeastern he replaced Larry as Celtics captain he belonged to Boston.
And I still miss him. Even now.

So true.

Even more true. Danny needs to do something after the All Star break. I think once KG and Quisy get back we are set at the 5, 4 and 3...but we are very thin at the 2 and 1...package Baby, Giddens, Walker, Scal for a bench scorer..damn..people pull crazy trades out of their asses everytime..let's get on of those too..

Pierce was the only celtic that tried at all today. Ray was good in the first half but disappeared in the second half.

You can't ask the starters to do anymore. Someone has to step up off the bench and allow Doc to play Ray, Paul and Rondo 30-32 minutes. No one is stepping up. Doc has a nightly decision, play Paul, Rondo and Ray 40+ minutes and try to win or play them 30-32 minutes and get blown out.

I prefer the dream where you're throwing punches at 1.5 mph, but yeah, more or less the same thing.

Ray was the best one in the 4th QT. Want to blame somebody? Blame Rondo for playing like a BITCH... :dontknow:

I know every team has problems but you simply do not see the lakers doing this. Celtics have lost 7 home games already and they only lost 6 all of last year.

I thought you said the bench was good?

Our 9 man rotation should good when we are healthy. I said wait til after the all-star break and judge. The problme is we haven't had our top 9 players playing together all year due to injuries. I don't count's House as our top 9. It's the starting five of Pierce, KG, Perkins, Ray, and Rondo. Then his Davis, Wallace, TA, and Daniels.

This team still needs something we haven't had since James Posey left. That's at tall SF that can hit the 3 and play some defense.

Eddie House is our only bench. We need to package the rest of these dudes, for a solid vet. I thought it was just a funk...but now I see we need to upgrade the bench. ASAP...

Are you kidding? Wallace can play, Davis can play, TA can play, Daniels can play. It's not Davis' fault that Doc played him over Scal in the 2nd half. Wait the Davis finish with? 5 points and 4 rebounds in only like 14 minutes?

Yeah, I've noticed the same thing. If the team gets KG and Quis back and healthy, then activates Lue, we'll be pretty solid but still lacking in just that one area.

Nah I think Eddie is our best bench player at the moment. Wallace wasn't bench today. TA sucked, and killed us with TO's..Daniels is injured..Davis didn't do anything, but he didn't play much. House was the only one who gave some sort of contribution tonight. We need to upgrade the bench..at least trade some of that end of the bench crap for one solid guy...if we can package Scal, Giddens, Walker for ANYTHING useful, then we should do it..

Missed the game because I was at the bars....only saw the 2nd half with Dirk being wide open nailing jumpers.....Comes down to what ive been saying all along...either this team gets healthy and makes a run or we need to make a trade for someone who can come in and score off the bench. Eddie House cannot do it by himself....Marguise is not reliable enough to last a full year and the C's should have seen that from his track record the past couple years at Indy. TA sucks and Baby is (Please Use More Appropriate Word) for his stupid fight sending his career back 2 years....

I'll wait until the team is healthy before making a final call but tonight the C's were a step slow for whatever reason. On to the next one.....KG hopefully will be back.
