Not even close.

If Martin is leaving, it's for a five and none of the right fit are avaiable.

Calderon is not good value for Martin. He just isn't.

He is overpaid, underplayed, and would get in Evans's way. Calderon's a good pure PG, but we don't need one, and Martin is a 20+ppg scoring borderline all star - in the West. The only player the Kings want from Toronto is Chris Bosh.

Sorry.

Ya, if you include Bosh its a done deal, otherwise no.
Sometimes you just have to look yourself in the mirror and say....Tyreke Evans.
That just happened.

the fact that the Kings SHOULD trade Kevin Martin... doesn't mean we should trade him just because... I would say HELL NO to that trade or anything that toronto has to offer that doesn't include DeRozan or Bosh....

This beyond terrible.

The kings value Udrih higher than Calderon. Adding Martin is utterly ridiculous.

We are dieing to be rid of Beno? Really? Thats news to me, and I thought having seen every Kings game for the last 5 years would give me some idea of whats best (in a fan's opinion) for the team. Hmm, Calderon a better passing PG for Beno, the better shooting backup PG...no thanks. Oh, and I forgot Kevin Martin's inclusion in the deal.....If this trade doesn't include (extended) Bosh, why on earth would we consider it? The fit just isn't there. Just because we have someone you covet doesn't mean you we in return have to covet any of your assets. Especially when your best asset is a max free agent to be. And why would you want to make a big trade right now when the Raps are rolling? If we were a game over .500 you can better believe we wouldn't be looking to trade a main component! Are the Raps only a good perimeter scorer away from the next step, IDK, don't see them enough. What I do know is the Kings are definitely not a decent, pass first PG away from contention. Our problems are in the paint, on the opponent's end of the floor. And unless you have a shot blocking scorer at the 4 or 5 that has suddenly become expendable, lets put these Raps/Kings talks to rest.

Sure we can trade Martin to Toronto as long as Bosh is coming back to Sac., they can through in Calderon or whoever.

In other words, this is not going to happen.

Return to Sacramento Kings
