Channing Frye just landed on the waiver wire in my league, and the "waivers" period has just commenced. I could use a big who scores 3s, but I already have a lot of quality bigs on my roster. If I were drop someone on my roster to pick up Frye, anyone have any suggestions? The obvoius pick would be Ridnour, but I need the extra PG position player and his assists. Thaddeus Young, maybe?
PG Dwyane Wade (Mia - PG,SG)
SG John Salmons (Chi - SG,SF)
G Richard Hamilton (Det - SG,SF)
SF Caron Butler (Was - SG,SF)
PF Al Horford (Atl - PF,C)
F Thaddeus Young (Phi - SF,PF)
C Chris Kaman (LAC - C)
Util Andrew Bogut (Mil - C)
Util Andre Iguodala (Phi - SG,SF)
BN Rodney Stuckey (Det - PG,SG)
BN Luke Ridnour (Mil - PG)
BN Nene Hilario (Den - PF,C)
Any thoughts appreciated.

Re: Channing Frye
He was dropped because he lost his starting spot and has been playing terrible since - still think it's worth picking him up?

Unless Frye starts I'm afraid his value is going to be limited :-/

Re: Channing Frye
I have Frye and am thinking of dropping him...
Some of the available players in my league are
Dalembert
Hawes
Foye
G. Hill
Yi
Marvin Williams
Ronnie Brewer
Mike Miller
Dunleavy
and Casspi
Any suggestions on anyone to pick up for Frye? I'd like a big man to play my PF or C spots for matchup purposes but I may have to just take the best guy available.

Re: Channing Frye
Basically all the players you listed are trash... BUT... I'd keep an eye on Illyasova I own him in my league and am just about to drop him (he didn't start today / might have been demoted, and hasn't been playing that well anyway) but he did play very well at the start of the season...
If you really want to drop Frye then I think I'd pick up Rasul Butler for now he's been playing well since being moved into the starting lineup and will replace most of the 3PTM you lose by dropping Frye.
Kris Humphries has also been playing well lately, I don't know if he can keep it up but the shot attempts will definitely be there given how much the Nets suck.

yeah there arent many good players on our waivers. i think ill just try to hold out and see how long robin lopez can keep up his good play...hopefully frye gets some minutes. ill keep an eye out on the players u mentioned

Re: Channing Frye
Corey Brewer or Kris Humphries. Sleeper pick on the waiver wire.
