Garnett update...........

Post#1 » by Kefa461 » Tue Jan 19, 2010 7:37 pm

WALTHAM (2:11pm) - Celtics forward Kevin Garnett is out on the floor practicing with his teammates after the team raised the curtains for the last 15 minutes for media availability. Garnett is expected to return within the next week from a knee injury. The Celtics head to Detroit after practice today looking to snap a 2-game losing streak after a 99-90 loss last night to Dallas.

ps...UPDATE: Report from Rich Levine, who's Tweeting from practice (2:25 p.m.) -- [Garnett] seems to be dragging that leg a little, and is most definitely winded, but looks pretty good

As long as they don't rush him back like last year, I'm fine with it. Really don't care how many games he misses as long as we finish with a top four seed in the East.

Please Garnett, whatever you do, don't injure yourself again like last season!

With the way we play at home, I could care less about HCA, just get healthy.

Need to get KG out of that #5 jersey.

It has the Walton Curse on it:

1 great year followed by injury plauged ones.

Meh. I don't believe in curses. Walton was injured all the time before he came to Boston.

Walton only wore 5 during his Boston years. In Portland, Clippers he was number 32...

Exactly! No need to rush him back unless he's 100%. Whether he gets back this week or next week or next month, we're still going to finish with one of the top records in the East. Just gotta make sure we're at full-strength going into the playoffs.
