I don’t want this Pistons’ sports coat…I NEED IT! I would wear it inside out Fresh Prince of Bel-Air style too. In other Pistons’ swag news check out Need4Sheed’s cool new Pistons’ themed Flip camera

Trade rumors are circulating around the Hornets sending the Cavs David West in return for Big Z (expiring $11.5 contract). The Pistons’ fan in me HATES this trade.

A lot of uncertainty not only in the Pistons’ ownership future, but also what stadium they’ll call home

Celtics' Kevin Garnett practices but won't play vs. Pistons
Kevin Garnett is practicing again with the Boston Celtics after missing the last nine games with a hyperextended right knee.

Garnett took part in the entire practice today, but coach Doc Rivers said he won’t play Wednesday night in Detroit. Rivers said Garnett might be ready for Friday night’s home game against Portland.

The Celtics are 4-5 in Garnett’s absence and lost their third straight home game Monday night against the Dallas Mavericks, 99-90. Garnett said his injury isn’t related to right knee problems that limited him to four games in the final two months of the last regular season and kept him out of all 14 playoff games. He had surgery May 26.

Big Ben’s got jokes
To boo or not to boo? On playing against Rasheed Wallace tomorrow: “He’ll get some cheers, and he’ll get some boos. It’ll make for some exciting basketball, since he’s one of those guys who had never fouled anyone since he has been in the league. -Free Press

So…should Pistons’ fans boo or cheer Rasheed?

Jazz, Boozer face trade uncertainty
Maybe Boozer will be in Chicago or Miami, the two teams to which he expressed his desire to be traded last summer. Maybe Boozer will be in Dallas or Detroit, two teams to which he already has been linked in trade talk this season.

About an hour before the Spurs' 97-90 victory Monday at New Orleans, Tony Parker limped through the tunnel toward the court for warm-ups, hobbling on a left foot still painful with plantar fasciitis.

Before the day was done, Parker's foot had loosened up enough for him to score 25 points, and he had spearheaded a gritty triumph at New Orleans Arena the Spurs desperately needed to close a grueling road trip.

Though his foot hurt when he awoke in his hotel room Monday morning, there was zero chance Parker wasn't going to play. After all, his foot hurts every morning. The first four or five steps from bed to bathroom often feel like fire shooting through his heel.

Eddy Curry, who had not played in 15 games, may have to play in China next season too.

Curry suffered another devastating blow to his comeback as the club announced he will undergo arthroscopic surgery on his left knee to remove loose cartilage and put him out six weeks.

Curry likely has no chance of getting back into a playing role this season unless the Knicks fall out of the playoff race. He has another year left on his contract, but Curry is expected to seek a buyout this summer. Curry said after his recent demotion that if he didn't get back playing, they should part ways in the offseason.
