The Clipper Girls are so much hotter... I dunno what it is, but maybe it's the fact the Laker Girls wear those yellow looking granny panties or something.... :-?

But that's neither here nor there...Unfortunately in regards to the game, we're gonna have to hear Pau all night scream ARGHHHHHHHHH every single time he goes up with the shot...Oh, and please keep JJ away from Lamar... I've never seen a player get abused like Lamar did to JJ last year..

Don't know why Exile23 posted those Laker Girl pics, they get no play on our board anyway.

Anyway I like the Lakers focus about this game, they realize where the mistakes were made in the first one and our bench is starting to play better. We'll see how it goes.

Nice game thread. Agree the Clips cheerleaders are def > Laker girls.

This one will be tough. Lakers are playing better ball lately and they will want to pay us back for the C-Mas day beatdown.

All season long this years squad has gotten it done against the elite so let's hope it happens again.

Laker fans will not be allowed to bring foam fingers into the arena.

Huge game IMO. The Christmas game can be written off as a fluke, but if the Cavs win again convincingly they have a case that they are the better team. Nice ass shots BTW.

I don't know if I subscribe to that theory, Baseline.. Even if we win the game in the same fashion we won on Christmas, I don't know if I would consider us to be the better team... Plus, things are just different now..

Kobe is hurting, so that changes the way the Lakers run their offense IMO..
This will be the 2nd time the Lakers are seeing us without Antawn Jamison in our lineup

I don't know, I just don't believe these games prior to the All Star break are true barometers win or lose.. So much can happen between now and then... Now, if this was a late March or early April contest with HCA on the line, then maybe... There's just such a long ways to go IMO..

Nah.....Phil and Kobe are both too stubborn to change the way the Triangle is run just because of injury. Kobe himself even said he'll still be just as aggressive, he doesn't want to give teams the advantage of thinking they can attack the Lakers differently. Besides his back is fine now, the index finger is still bothersome but it is what it is for him at the moment.

Since his personal little talk with Lamar and Ron, they've been more aggressive also. But the key to a win for the Lakers will be the production of the front line.

Outlaw, I guess the comic was too inappropriate?

Should expect a much better effort from the Lakers after what happened on Christmas. Hopefully our defense will still be there. Not having Moon for this one will hurt a bit, so we're going to need Shaq and Mo to step it up.. The bench will also be very crucial.

I agree. Even if we win this game I don't think that necessarily makes us the better team.

Just think back to 2007...beat SA twice and they swept us easily.

I am not happy to see one of our starters go down, but I am interested to see what West and Gibson can do with extended minutes. This also could be very good timing as far as their trade value is concerned.
Well at least we're not Detroit!

We are screwed with Mo out (against LA at least).

He was a big part of our C-Mas day win. I just hope his injury isn't serious.

Not sure why they brought him back against TOR if his shoulder was hurting.

Time for Boobie and Delonte to step up big time.

I mean BIG time. 20 pts from Boobie won't hurt.
