I have some concern about Evans/Martin coexisting as well, but our frontcourt is the priority, and it's kind of hard to judge how well our backcourt is going to work anyway unless the frontcourt works as well.

I don't really have a concern about Evans and Martin coexisting, but I do have a concern about them coexisting with this frontcourt. Just like with that Ron/Bonzi duo, you need a frontcourt to compliment it and mostly stay out of the way. You put a Bosh type of player, or Amare and your just going to make the problems worse. I say load up the talent on the wing and get you some defensive anchors in the middle. Brockman can stay, the rest? I don't know.

I think the best lineup they can put on the floor and have it work, and possibly quite well is:

PG: Evans
SG: Martin
SF: Greene
PF: Brockman
C: Hawes

Basically run the ball through Hawes a few times for Martin and spread the floor for Evans drive and dish the rest of the time. There is no way that won't work. Plus Casspi and Thompson off the bench will be really effective IMO.

Find a way to get a defensive center on the court. You put a guy like Al Horford on this team and our defense would vaslty improve.

You put Tyreke, Martin, Casspi/Greene and Thompson on there and our C doesn't have to even be a great scorer, just a decent one so he isn't a liability. Get Emeka Okafor, or draft Cole Aldrich, please!

Oh, and get rid of Nocioni in any way possible. He's the only guy that needs to go.

+1 Ugh...thank god i didn't jump the gun and change my username huh? Oh well, its quite obvious that our frontcourt is the problem and its been that way for years now. I just dont know how we can solve it.

As good as Bosh and Amare are...they certainly aren't the answer. Besides..they're pipe dreams anyway.

I pretty much agree with everyone here. The front court right now is clearly the problem offensively--more specifically that we need a big that can finish. Amare would actually be an awesome fit for us because he plays off of the ball a lot.

Tyreke really doesn't look like he needs somebody that can spread the floor. His interior passing is good enough to deal with a crowded lane. What he needs is a big that won't either fumble the ball/get stripped around the basket (Jason), and won't get blocked time after time after time (Spencer)--or of course, one that isn't 6' 7".

The best option right now would appear to be the draft. The good news is that we're well on our way right now to being in Aldrich territory. And if we can, my some kind of miracle, dump Noc for expirings, we should also have ample cap space to go after somebody this year either through trade or FA. But man, that Noc trade is really a pain in the ass right now. I mean if we hadn't have done it, this team would be costing about an extra $10million right now and the Maloofs would be losing a lot more money, but we easily would have been able to move Salmons' salary, and we wouldn't have to worry about stupid Noc's contract.
