This is the worst trade proposal I have ever seen.

The Warriors trade their best player for nothing in return.

The Suns trade an All-Star PF for a combo guard.

The Celtics pay $40m a year in lux taxes by trading their only shooting guard to fill a need they don't have.

Well done.

Boston would have to deal Perkins to get Amare. Considering the Celtics problems with scoring and Orlando's decline, Amare would be a good addition.

The trade has a decent basic but is pretty flawed. Maggette has been playing better and word is they aren't just trying to dump him anymore and would want something in return. If the trade did go down I think it would be adjusted like this:

Boston sends: Ray / Sheed / Davis / Scal / 1st rounder
Boston gets: Richardson / Amare / Radmanovic
Reasons: A no brainer for us

Phoenix sends: Amare / JRich / Barbosa / 1st rounder
Phoenix gets: Ray (who WON'T be bought out) / Ellis / Wallace
Reasons: They get something back for Amare in a rising star Ellis. Nash will make Wallace and Ray look great. They get Rays bird rights to either resign him or to use in a sign and trade. Although they are always trying to get cheap talent they don't seem to mind trading 1st rounders (remember when we got the Rondo pick for cash and Brian Grant :D )

GS sends: Ellis / Radmanovic
GS gets: Barbosa / Davis / Scal / Boston 1st / Phoenix 1st
Reasons: The get a poor man's Ellis in the Radmanovic dump. Additionally they get 3 "assets" in the 2 1sts and Davis which can be used in another trade (perhaps a trade up in the draft) or if they keep them all one or two should turn into a solid bench player. That said I'm still not sure GS would pull the trigger.
