Wiz vs Miami Game Thread - Lets Rumble

Post#2 » by hands11 » Fri Jan 22, 2010 11:34 pm

What kind of lame game thread is that. If that all your going to do, why even bother starting one.

These guys deserve better then that. We have been playing some very solid ball. We could easily be on a 5-0.

I started a read game thread but it looks like it got merged by the mods. I have to remember to hit send and then come back and add to it. Anyway.

We take this one and get back on a roll.

Someone set up a chat so we can get this thing going again.

MM is going to stick around healthy this go around so we finally get to see what we picked up in the offseason. I was at the last game. This guy puts in a lot of effort in his D

Foye has been on a tear.
AJ no way he has two bad games. He will come out balling.
CB hopefully got the wake up call from the public flogging
Haywood had 18 rebounds last game. GO WOOD.

TIME TO RUMBE

WIZARDS IN THE HOUSE

My bad ... either my internet connection was slow or the site was slow. Got impatient hitting buttons and must've locked instead of merge/sticky.

Butler will stink to high heaven, and I'll end up hating him much more than I already do.

I'll keep watching out of the corner of my eye while I get at some paperwork. Such are the depths of my madness.

Wow. No way this team gets 25 wins. What an embarrassment. Has this sorry franchise been sold yet? Dump Butler and Twan already goddammit!

So much for playing McGee. Kind of a hangover from the ending of the last game to Miami's horrendous performance against Charlotte. Flip is playing this soft zone due to Wade (even when he was out) and Heat are just laughing it. Miller shouldn't be out there right now. He just doesn't have it tonight. Save for the 2nd half.

Flip...use his roster....GTFO. We've to keep a tight lineup to maximize our chances to win. Cuz we're thinking playoffs.

He can play Mike James and Wes Jr. for all I care. I just think we're seeing why McGee is so far away. You don't have the shoot the ball every time you touch it.

Tuned in late, just on-time to see that it is a laugher. Oh-well, gotta stay in the John Wall sweepstakes.

I'd shoot it every time I touch it too if I knew I probably won't see the floor for another 10-15 games. Just how the hell is he supposed to play. When he has good games, he banished to the bench. When he has bad games, it's like he doesn't exist. Where is the middle ground? Where's the reward for playing the right way? I saw some dumbf**k get the ball jammed down his f**cking throat with 6secs to play the other night. He's getting 30+ every single game. The current regime is absolutely clueless on how to develop young talent. Blair would've rotted here too. i kinda want JaVale to get traded. He deserves better.

How is he supposed to play? Not like Randy Foye and chuck the ball up every time you touch it. You're 7 feet tall. Attempt to post up and if you don't get the ball, go after offensive rebounds like Andray Blatche does (when he's in the mood like tonight). I agree with you that he should play more, but if you're Flip, do you give up and play him 30 minutes or do you play him 10-12 because Blatche, Haywood and Jamison are just better.

Washington's offense tonight consists malnly of: Jamison scoop shot from 15, Butler go 1-and-1, Foye go 1-an-1. DeBrick throw up a shot because he's open. Miami actually sharing the ball. They should be up 30 so Wiz still in it.

I don't like him shooting like Foye either, but who cares really. We won't see him again until mid February.

Edit: Don't look now, they're trying to mount a comeback. Let's all watch and indulge in false hope. :x

We're not coaches; we're fans. We want to see the young players play, when the team sucks. They've actually been playing decent ball until tonight. Just can't finish. The coach is not paid to tank. I believe he's trying to win, though I believe he cost Jamison a few games by playing him 50+ against Chicago. He hasn't recovered from that stretch.

Miller owing zero dollars to Haiti tonight. Maybe he should change it to $1,000 per attempt + turnover.
