LOl..here we are saying people shouldn't take the ALL STAR game so seriously, and Kaman pulls this one off..amazing.. :falloff:

In all honesty I think Kaman is having a terrific year, thing is, he's acting like a total girl about it. It's one thing to publicly state that you should be in the All-Star game, but that was one hell of a "rant" he put together LOL

Not that I care though, both Kaman and Gasol are "cavemen" anyway

I think you guys should not be worried. I am pretty sure Coaches will pick Rondo and Pierce (and both definitely deserve it as well).

The guy who will get most affected by this is Derrick Rose. He has been 2nd best PG in the East so far this year and has been improving game by game - month by month but since those other guys are sucking, Rose will probably pay the price for it since he is on a lower than 50% winning team.

IMO, Rondo should be starting in the All-Star game and Rose should be backing him up this year but Iverson making it will screw this one up.

Rondo and Pierce are both deserving. Garnett, not really, but I'm not losing sleep over it unlike some fans on the General Board who are ready to riot because of Iverson's selection LOL.

The same people whining left and right about how guys like Iverson are getting so much votes are themselves voting their own "favorite players". Unless you are voting strictly for the "best players at their positions" per conference, you have no right to complain how the results turn out.

Take Garnett for example. He hasn't exactly been beastin' but he's getting the nod over Bosh just the same. Garnett is the favorite player of many, and so is Iverson.

That's what I was talking about the other day. But I'm thinking Bosh will probably get 1st team ALL NBA this year, and that will make up for it...at least I hope. :dontknow:

Bosh has no shot at 1st team ALL NBA. Lebron, Duncan, Dirk and Melo all deserve it more than him...

That's my feeling too, start Rondo and add Rose as a reserve. But Iverson won't volunteer to come off the bench so Rondo won't get to start.

My guess is Rondo and Rose will be the only point guards among all of the guards chosen. I've a feeling it could be Wade, Iverson, Rondo, Rose and Joe Johnson.
