I think Chad Pennington would be a good choice, could be signed for cheap. If Freeman were to get hurt, there would not be much of a drop of in production with Pennington as backup .
Thoughts ? Any other ideas on a vet QB to bring in ?

He'd be a good choice as it's obvious CP has health issues playing full time.
Whether or not he'd accept a back up role on a bad team is another question though.
