LA loses out on talent but gets a better fit next to Bosh in the front court. We also save some future money in the process. Sad to split up our all stars but had to be done unfortunately.

LA accepts

Accepted but might need to be reworked because of Finley...Love to get another superstar next to KD, though my defense will be pretty weak im certain i can fix that up later, but my lineup now consists of Nelson, Ginobili, Durant, Stoudemire, Jefferson

aaproved, 2nd is Minnesota's

Hornets accept. We acomplish 2 goals in 1 trade. I wanted a good perimeter defender at the 3 who could shoot the 3 and a playmaking 2. I kill 2 birds in one stone

Devin Harris - $8,400,000
Nenad Kristic - $5,160,832
13560832

For

Hasheem Thabeet...$4,458,840
Mike Conley..........$3,883,800
James Johnson.....$1,594,080
Darrel Arthur........$1,050,480
10987200

It works.

We give up more established players for younger ones with more upside, we also cut salary in this deal. We like the tough perimeter defense that Conley gives and he is only 22, and Thabeet is a guy we like more than most, he was the 2nd overall pick in the last draft for a reason.

13.61/19.58

13.61*1.25=17.01

OKC Trades:
Stoudemire 16.38

16.38*1.25=20.48
20.48+.1=20.58
20.58>19.58

Deal works with a bit of cushion on incoming/outgoing when taking Aldridge's PPP into account.

Why for Portland:
We're taking a risk by bringing Amar'e on board, but we're confident that he'll want to stay around after being reunited with Steve Nash and joining Brandon Roy on young team with an elite PG.

It hurts to lose Aldridge, a superior defender and shooter, but Amar'e is an older player who we believe will fit better with Nash's prime. They have obvious chemistry and proven success, but have never been teamed with a player of Roy's caliber before.

We're also excited for Oden's return either at the end of this year or beginning of next year and feel that Amar'e will take a big inside scoring load off of his shoulders, allowing Oden to focus on what he does best, defense and rebounding. Oden adds yet more incentive for Amar'e to stay due to his ability to take the opponent's best big man.

We were really high on Webster as a fantastic young G/F, especially after locking down both Durant and Bryant this year, but we feel that Batum and LRMAM will be plenty at SF and Roy is our SG. Our depth takes a hit, but there is still time to find some G's.

there has been a veto request on this trade, as it is very late in to it, I will extend its approvel time until tomorrow morning 7 est

Even if I wasn't, the added salary is within the 125% rule.

That rule only applies to teams already over the salary cap.

^No, you can waive your cap space in order to use it. Think about it. If you're only $50,000 below the cap, how could you ever get a trade done that gets you over the cap?

Before this trade, Phoenix Suns sign Royal Ivey to 1 year vet minimum.

Phoenix Suns and Orlando Magic have announced a trade.

Phoenix Trades:

PF Tyrus Thomas - $4,743,598
SF Grant Hill - $3,000,000
SG - Shannon Brown - $1,990,000
PG - Mike James - $6,466,600

Total Outgoing = $16,200,198

Orlando Trades:

PF/SF - Rashard Lewis - $18,876,000
PF - JJ Hickson - $1,429,200

Total Outgoing = $20,305,200

16,200,198* 1.25 + 100,000 = 20,350,248 (greater than 20,305,200, just!)

Phoenix does this to acquire a 3-point specialist in Rashard Lewis, to provide vital floor-spacing we so desperately require. Hickson is a nice prospect to add to the lineup, and will learn well from Odom. Removing Hill gives the opportunity for Daye to earn minutes, whilst I believe Tyrus will do better alongside a PG like CP3, and Shannon Brown was only a backup anyway.

Phoenix Accepts
There is no consolation prize. Winning is everything.

The Portland Trailblazers have two deals to announce:

Deal One:

PORTLAND
Ilgauskas 11.54
Josh Powell .83 (unguaranteed)
Salim Stoudamire .83 (unguaranteed)
Rights to Victor Claver
13.2*1.25=16.50
16.50+.1=16.60
16.60>15.24

FOR

CHICAGO
Miller 12.25
Gray 1.00
Pargo 1.99
15.24

WHY FOR PORTLAND: We are only doing this deal because it allows us to complete the next deal. We really like Claver and valued Z much more than we value Miller (we wanted to keep Z's bird rights and resign him), but Chicago was in the right place at the right time with the right contracts, so they get something for nothing.

Deal Two

ORLANDO
Okafor 10.80
Turkoglu 9.00
19.8

FOR

PORTLAND
Miller 12.25
Mbah a Moute .74
Gray 1.00
Pargo 1.99
2011 1st
15.98*1.25=19.98
19.98+.1=20.08
20.08>19.80

WHY FOR PORTLAND: We have been bad-contract-phobic in this game and really don't like taking Hedo's deal on, but it's worth it for us to land Okafor. We also hate losing LRMAM, but we need a C to play with Oden/Amare and Okafor is the best option that was available. Some people don't like Okafor's contract either, but we're not going to be under the cap anytime soon, so taking on both Okafor and Turkoglu works for us. With ORL deciding to tear things down and rebuild around Paul/through FA, this deal is a win/win.

Ultimately, we thought getting Okafor justified LRMAM, one of the best defenders in the league and a fantastic bargain, taking on Hedo's bad contract, losing Big Z, and trading away both our 2011 1st and the rights to Victor Claver. We trade youth, depth, and any future cap flexibility for a better shot to win now. Portland Accepts both deals.

Bulls accept, we swap some expirings, guys whom we like more for the short term, and pick up a prospect in Claver who was selected in the first round.

Orlando accepts the trade from Phoenix, then cuts Mike James, PJ Brown & Adonal Foyle to free up roster spots for the Portland trade (which we also accept)

Phoenix: We were slowly approaching 100 million and weren't convinced we had a championship team. We decided to rebuild around Chris Paul and to do that we needed some financial flexibility.

Portland: Ditto plus we love what LRMAM brings to the table. We're sad to lose Okafor and Hedo but we're def excited about the money we save.

The Magic will cut Chucky Atkins, Louis Admundson, Aaron Gray, Jeremy Pargo to make limit.

The Toronto Raptors and Orlando Magic have agreed to the following:

The Orlando Magic will send: SG/SF Vince Carter - 16,123,250

The Raptors will send:

Amir Johnson - 3,941,667
Antoine Wright - 1,800,000
Roger Mason Jr - 3,780,000
Matt Bonner - 3,256,500
Patrick O Bryant= 855,189

Total: 13,633,356 x 1.25 = 17,041,695 > 16,123,250

Deal Works

We continue our drastic cost cutting by unloading the talented VC. We also pick up a few vets who can help us out immediately. Orlando accepts.

Raptors agree. Getting a scorer like Carter finally gives me a chance to contend. DeMar can learn under Carter to be the next VC. I take on his contract but the time to win is now. I will sign minimum guys to fill out my roster shortly

You would have to sign him to his full contract (about 6.5 mil). You don't have the cap space to do that.

the trade in which Amundson and Atkins are released is actually illegal since its a 5 for 1.

Toronto would be left at 11 players under contract.
