What the hell was that? Surely that wasn't real. I'm referring to tonight's TNA main event for those of you who may not have seen it.

Of course it wasn't real. It was exactly like the Montreal Screwjob. Hebner played Hebner, Styles played HBK, Flair played HHH and Hogan played Vince. They even had Kurt spit on Hogan and talk about going to the rival company. My only guess is that they didn't like the reaction Hogan was getting and this was an easy way to turn him heel. My biggest complaint is that this was Kurt Angle instead of Samoa Joe.

I love Kurt, forget his career the guy is one bad bump away from paralysis. Putting Joe in this spot and have him chase the title for the next 3-4 months, that's the type of thing that could've turned him into a megastar.

i was waiting for kurt to write out wwe in the air like bret,
god that was dumb.
but it was a work,
if it was a shoot it wouldnt of been on the show since it is taped

It was pretty bad. At least it was ... different. Something I haven't been able to say for a Raw episode in a while.

I didn't think TNA was that bad. It's better than 2 guys, near there 40's running around with a midget for most of the show.

It was bad and pathetic this whole new "Hogan/Eric era" it has been what three weeks? Yet things are not looking good right now.

This "screwjob" angle god this angle has been play out way to much now days, excuse me I should call this when people call it anyways the "Orlando Screwjob" LOL. But the chants steal the show when Kurt split on Hogan's face they chanted "THANK YOU KURT!" That was funny.

TNA is at least targeting the older fans

Watching Impact on youtube. My opinion AJ sucks as a heel, his mic skills trying to get the fans to hate him is absolute terrible.

Agreed. He was trying waaaaay too hard to pull off that Horsemen Flair angle and it just wasn't working.

I think AJ is horrible on the mic, period. He's annoying whenever he talks. I'd rather just watch him wrestle and never touch a mic, ever.

ala Shelton Benjamin? Dude is amazing in the ring, but as soon as he touches a mic he turns into a nervous wreck that can barely put sentences together.

I don't think he's as bad as Shelton. He's much better as a face because cutting a face promo is a lot easier for most and when he was a face he wasn't great on the mic but I thought he was competent. Shelton on the other hand, I wince every time I see him with a mic in his hands.

Even in a thread about TNA people find a way to bash the WWE in it. That borderlines obsession, if you ask me. It's the one American wrestling league I haven't cared for watching too much. Lack of developing their own stars and the lack of originality are two of the big reasons so I'm not surprised about this.

Aj was a good heel only as a goofy side kick or at least i liked him like that

This is a thread about TNA so the WWE should not be talked about. It can get very annoying when you hear the same thing over and over again. I'm somewhat that way only with animal rights and environmental issues, and politics to a much lesser degree. However, these issues are far, far more important than the entertainment industry so I feel I have that right as it's effecting much of the world. When it's an issue of minimal importance such as the entertainment industry, I don't see any point in whining about the same thing over and over again even in threads where it has no relevence.

The WWE was brought up only twice in this thread prior to your complaint about it. The first was all of the comments likening it to the Montreal Screwjob which I think was acceptable because that's precisely what it was. The second was the comment comparing Styles and Benjamin which is also I think perfectly acceptable since it provides a good comparison of two guys whom many see as very similar.

Its not like anyone was posting about who they hope wins the Royal Rumble.

Shelton is the type of guy that I think would do great in TNA, on pure ring skills alone he would get over I think.

Yeah I actually liked when he was a heel with Christian in TNA.

I agree I was saying to my friends that TNA was bad but it was still better than Raw lol
