Wasn't the drop in games covered partially due to the Wolves themselves cutting some out in hopes of increasing ticket sales (which seems like a bad idea to me)?

The response I got from KSTC said that the Timberwolves determine how many games are aired per season.

Well whichever wolves person thought that that was a good idea, they should be suspended. If the team sucks, not showing games isn't going to make any casual fans want to go down and see many games. Out of sight out of mind.
