A Vote of Confidence: The Suns will figure it out!

Post#1 » by chriscringle95 » Sun Jan 24, 2010 2:42 pm

I have been alarmed by the Suns recent failure on the court but after thinking hard about it I have to believe this team can and will pull it together and make a significant run during the playoffs. Call me crazy and blind or whatever but Steve and Amare simply won't let this team go down without a fight.

I think the Suns will come out of the rut and prove to be the team we all seen in November as the second half goes along. I think some of the guys who have never really played this long in there careers are adjusting to a full time NBA schedule and it is resulting in losses at the moment. The Suns just need to reach the playoffs and the rest is history. They will be a tough out.

To Kerr: Don't trade Amare or anyone else. This team has potential...

Eh. We know they have talent, but having the consistent heart and drive is the issue. :(

Potential for what ? First round playoff exit ? :( How long do we have until we reach our full potential, until Nash's 50 ? :)

Large part of our problems have been players with injuries trying to play, and people disappearing altogether.

Injured:
Barbosa
J-Rich

Disappeared:
Frye

Now, 2 of those guys are starters, and 1 is our key 6th man. It's kind of hard to be consistent when we've got such large problems. Frye lost his shot for 5 or 6 games and needs some confidence, I think he gained some last night. J-Rich is hurt but still trying to play. He needs to go figure out what's wrong with his wrist/ankle or whatever.

Barbosa is doing the right thing by having surgery.

Once we find some consistency and get in the playoffs, we can figure things out.

Since December, this team has not played like a playoff team. I would not give Amar'e max money with his lack of commitment on D. If we can get a great deal for him, I'd take it.

This team's current roster places it at a first round exit if everything goes well. I'm okay with resigning Amare for something along the lines of what Gasoft got. But in doing that- I'd really want JRich gone as soon as possible. Injured or not, he's a moron on the court and has absolutely no BBIQ. He's a massive liability.

Frye hasn't disappeared- he's come back down to earth. He's a role playing scrub.
