Should we make a move for Camby?

Post#1 » by Al-Haqq » Sun Jan 24, 2010 9:26 am

Another big is never a bad idea ... although it will get crowded with Rasheed and Baby, not to mention Sheldon.

There were rumours of him coming in 2007, and the LA Clippers have stated they will trade him depending on their record.

I can't imagine what we can offer.

Camby has 1yr left so it's cap space for them anyway so trading Tony and Scal may not make much sense. A trade suggests they probably want an impact player who can sneak em into playoffs.

we dont have any value to offer clips. It should be ending contracts, young talents or good draft picks. unfortunately nither of them we have.

...and if we did we would never use it on Camby. We are loaded at the 4-5..super thin at the 1 and 3...

you are right, if we had maybe would use them to bring TJ ford or anyone who can bring the ball or can take some minutes fom captain.

oh wait, actually we already have marquis who can bring the ball and can play some 3.

but another option wouldnt be bad when you consider marquies has been an injury prone throughout his carreer

We need a backup outside shooting wing player and/or a point guard, not another big man.

There's simply not enough available to offer. We can't provide what the Clippers would want.
