norv turner? new offense scheme? second year starting slump? what's wrong with rivers? he was supposed to be an accurate and smart QB but he's turning into very grossman like.

i think a mix of adjusting to a new system, soph yr starting slump, and LT not being MVP-like this year.

He's never had a big arm, and his WRs are NEVER open. A guy with a rifle arm can make those WRs look better, but he doesn't have the velocity. He also isn't handling pressure as well as most people expected he would--he's still learning how to move around in the pocket and how to keep looking downfield under duress.

Norv Turner!

to be fair, Rivers had Antonio Gates and LT to help him a lot last year but overall the Chargers are not a good team ths year and I blame the coaching staff.

He is who the Giants thought he was. That trade doesn't look quite as train-wrecky anymore for the GMen.

This is what happens when you try to re-invent caretaker QBs.

He's only good in the shot gun, he cant play under center cause of his side arm motion. He only played good last year cause most of the play calls were from the shot gun, Norv Turner is trying to make him a under center QB

I keep thinking back to last year when Rivers made Pro Bowl over Brady. Thought it was crazy then, now it simply comical.

norv turner.

a passing minded coordinator, he should have never put the ball in the hands of his quarterback. but rode the runningback, and then draft off of him.

he started passing early in the season, and now theyre playing catchup.

Nothing, playing the way I thought he would he is an average QB.
