Complaint against Mod "Yogi Stewert"

yogi stewart issued a board warning against me but in the process he initiated a personal attack against me in his pm. specifically, he said, "you broken in the head"". i dont appreciate this attack and i believe the punishment to fit the crime here. i think mr. yogi stewart should have his moderator privileges suspended because im very shaken by those comments. mods are representatives of real gm and i hope this isnt the image u want to portray to the public. if my concerns arent heard here, im going to pursue it with your advertisers and see what there take is on this particular offensive moderators. do your advertisers want to be affiliated with hateful ppl?

You are right. There is a big difference. Yogi's comment to you was in a private message between just him and you.

Private: personal and not publicly expressed

Your hateful comments were public.

Public: open to all persons... i.e. sponsors.

The only person here who said anything hateful and disrespectful publically that sponsors would not like was you. Mods deal with issues raised by posters - Yogi dealt with the complaints. That's right complaints. Other POSTERS, NOT MODS thought that your post was completely out of line and should be dealt with. Sorry if you get offended easily - perhaps in the future you too will consider how others may react to your offensive posts as it is indeed a 2-way street.

interesting reply. so if we as mere members could exercise our pm privileges like mods and decided to insult other members- would it be kosher as well? and my post was irresponsible, ill admit as such, however, im not a representative of real gm. and in case u missed it- we arent discussing my post, no, its all about yogi stewart abusing his mod/pm privileges by initiating an personal attack against me. am i offended? of course i am, especially in light of the power disparity between us. if i were to do the same thing, i would be suspended immediately but when a moderator initiates such school yard behaviour- we're merely discussing it. and thats why ive had enough- either yogi stewart is suspended or im taking my frustrations up with every single advertiser- who choose real gm and ill let them decide if yogi ( a representative of real gm) actions align with their company values.

Out of curiosity are you a returning poster with an axe to grind here? You were given a warning, nothing more and yet you are calling for a suspension. I find this rather draconian approach odd.

And on a side note - if you were to do the same thing you would not be suspended immediately. I'm not sure where you got that impression and believe it enough to think you can pass it off as fact, but you're very wrong.

your lighthearted reply is indicative of how seriously u take your responsibilites as a mod. and in the process- u're dragging the image "real gm" at large through the mud.

so u stand by your comments? so its alright to privately disparge someone but when done in a public setting, i.e. a forum- it contravenes the rules and regulations of the forum? ill consider your reply when i take my frustrations up with real gm advertisers. again, all this can be averted if u volunatrily resign from your post or if and when u are suspended from your post as mod.

Quite frankly I don't know why people hate Little Ozzy, he's a good mod. The only mod who thinks "hes the shi" is Yogi Stewart.

I got a warning from him because of this:
There was a thread talking about Bosh advertising his new dvd and it got locked (with no explanation I might add - something really needs to be done about locking threads without saying why. Just say why, it would prevent so many people from complaining) so anyways, a new thread starts also talking about Bosh's new dvd.

What I did on other boards doesn't really concern you nor the topic at hand.

In fact .. in my PM the only warnings I have from the Raps board are from you.
I have a PM from Little Ozzy titled "this is not a warning"

Yes I do have warnings for trolling Kobe. What does this have to do with how you mod?
How about addressing my post above. What did I get warned for exactly? Being rude? Derailing a thread?

this brave poster stepping up to confront some capricious moderating speaks to my point. im not the only poster who feels this way. the intransigence of this moderator is revealing- ive apologized for my transgression but mr. stewart seems unapologetic about his choice of words or the manner in which he's dealt with other posters in the past. do advertisers want to be associated with this toxic environment where a "certain" moderator can operate in an unfettered manner in settling scores and ridiculing posters just for his personal amusement. unfortunately, mr. stewart- we're not here for your personal amusement.

and lastly, im not a moderator nor do i want to be, but i believe your best recourse should have been to issue me a standard warning without the personal insult. if i persisted in posting offensive material, then it was within your right to escalate into the penalty stage. however, your insistence on unleashing personal insults my way has undermined your creditability as a mod and i believe you're not fit for the role anymore.
