KEYS TO THE GAME:

With Carmelo Anthony, playing like the league MVP at the moment, sitting out this game, this is one that the Bobcats HAVE to have.

With Toronto's win over the Lakers, Charlotte is now .5 game back of Toronto. The Bobcats need to keep pace with Toronto to secure the 6th and to regain the 5th seed.

Boris Diaw needs to assert himself in the game and he and Nazr DO NOT need to get into foul trouble. The Bobcats will be in big trouble if that happens, becuase Gana cannot hang with the mobile, athletic Denver bigs.

DJ Augustin, coming off a season-best performance against the Magic on Saturady, needs to attack Ty Lawson, a potential killer off the bench for the Nuggets.

Even if Melo isn't playing, this is a pretty big challenge for us, and would be a really big win to get us back on track and to improve our confidence on the road. That said, I don't feel great about our odds, because the Nugs have been on a tear lately and we, uh, haven't, when we're not in Charlotte.

Wallace and Jax need to show up for this game. I can't help but notice those guys change their play on the road vs at home. If Felton is healthy enough, we'll need him to lead the defense and create steals and turnovers.

It'd be swell if we could get a nice game from Flip and/or DJ as well.

Love her in LOTR but when I think of Liv I only think of one movie.

Damn the Man!! Save the Empire!

As for the game if Billups was still playing like ass I'd feel a little better about this game since Melo is out but we better not show up flat tonight.

With Melo out and the JR issues going on, this might be perfect timing for the Bobcats to steal a road win. Wallace needs to come out aggressive. He seems to me to be more passive on the road.
