Hendo Doesn't Want To Go To The D?

Since the D-League came up, I asked Brown if he had thought any about sending rookie Gerald Henderson for a stint there. Brown indicated Henderson wasn't particularly receptive to that option, but that the lottery pick is understanding about his limited playing time, behind Stephen Jackson and Flip Murray.

Wait - players have a choice/say if they go down to the D?

Screw that!! Send him down there. Get the kid some playing time some where. Tell him to get a proper hair cut, pull up his socks and go light it up with Lexy for a while.

With the way Ajinca has developed I'm convinced that practicing against NBA talent is not as valuable as playing real games against just below NBA talent. A stint in the D would be good for Hendo, although he wouldn't necessarily walk right into the starting line-up. The Red Claws have JR Giddens, who had a nice game tonight and Trey Gilder, who is also a nice player on the wings.
