I'm going to go ahead and blame Favre's INT at the end of the 4th as the problem. We've known AP is a fumble risk the whole season, those weren't suprises. But for Favre to throw that pass at that time into that coverage with that much time left is inexcusable.

He's been a QB for how many years? He could have fallen on the ground where he stood and been in FG range, nevermind that he had at least 5 open yards to keep running into. But instead he threw it cross field into double coverage, also ignoring his checkdown who was wide open on his right for a very similar yardage gain.

56 yard field goal before falling on the ground for a loss.
I don't think I blame Favre for this one. Clearly not his best game, but what the hell is he supposed to do? He get's hit every time he passes and the guys drop the ball on the ground 5 freakin' times.

Grr, I didn't want to post about this loss. Why do I open this thread?

Can someone please help me out here.

I got people telling me that the Vikings and the Texans are the same as they both have 0 superbowl wins.

This is just bothering me.

pretty twisted stat, but yes, neither of them have won Superbowls. The Texans have never been there, they are a recent expansion team, and the Vikings just suck at winning in the SuperBowl.

Titles would be the correct terminology as the guy pointed out.

Titles in replacement for superbowls.

Now give me a response.

I thought that fumble right before the half was the worst turnover. We had a chance to take the lead going into halftime. We rarely cause turnovers and we got one gift wrapped by Reggie Bush.

Peterson's fumble cost us points, Harvin's fumble cost us points, Berrian's fumble cost us points. If anything I would say Harvin's fumble was the worst, because we know it cost us 7 points. Peterson's and Berrian's fumbles may have only cost 3 points.

The correct response to ignore him because he's obviously just trying to be obnoxious. Watch the games and have fun.

Currently the Lions are the only team from the NFC with a longer Super Bowl appearance drought. They've never been. Otherwise every other team in the NFC has been to the Super Bowl since the Vikings last made it.

No, but not because the value is awful. I just don't want to trade AP.

I would. Backs are much easier to find then Corners. Revis is probably the most valuable player in the league that is not a QB.

I think I would too, not just because of fumbles, but because we're going to have to make some changes to the o line it seems to get AD back to dominant, but Revis would be huge for us from day 1.

No problem, that's what I'm here for. Informing and depressing the masses. I'll also be selling rope, sleeping pills, and razor blades at my road-side stand for anyone that's interested.
