But it really is entirely his fault leaving useless JRich in the game in the OT instead of Dragic. That was so beyond stupid.

Amare didnt even touch the ball once in the 4th on offense after scoring 10 in the 3rd.

we were counting how many times would touch the ball in over time in the chatroom. he touched the ball twice! one time up top and not anywhere near scoring position. so i might not even call that a touch. the next touch was when they gave him the ball with the shot clock going down so he had to shoot a bad shot.

i was wondering how many times he touched the ball in the 4th. i knew the starters stay out until the 5 minute mark of the 4th. i didnt know he did not touch the ball at all in the 4th. i cant believe this coaching .........

and he sat in the last minute for gentry play amundsun.. and it was our ball. Who sits amare for amundsun on an offensive play?

I really didn't want the Suns to name Gentry as the head coach, even though I knew it was coming. There is a reason why he is a career assistant. Gentry is someone you would love to have in the coaching staff, he is patient enough to communicate with young players. He is a real bad fit for a vet heavy team such as this current Suns.

There is no way we are going to fire Gentry. He has been our 3rd head coach in just 3 seasons, and we are still committed to Porter's 3 year contract.

The team was kinda effective under Gentry last year. But I believe it was more of a reaction of the Porter firing. That team went 18-13 under Gentry, great offense, pathetic defense. He really did nothing to warrant to be named as the HC.

I don't think even Porter under utilized Amare like this last year. Amare is best at what he does, thats finishing the basketball. We barely even set him up to easy baskets these days like we did in the past. We have isolated Amare a lot more this season, and he is simply not a good isolation scorer. This is leading more offense fouls and turnovers because he is getting the ball in uncomfortable positions.

This team has turned into a pure jump-shooting team.

I think hes just seeing how our younger guys react in these situations, since come a month, its gonna be Nash Hill and the rest of the young players. Amare looked like he didnt care about playing tonight so why should he get the late touches?

x2!!!! i know this team is built around shooters, but i cant count how many times we have gone back to back to back 3 point shots. we need to run some plays for amare. i can tell you our one play for amare.

we post up amare, he gets the ball, he either backs down or turns and faces the player for a jump shot or takes the person off the dribble.

oh yeah we run the pick n roll.

gentry left jrich in the game while he shot 2-12 and 1-6 from 3.

amare touched the ball 2 times in overtime. gentry is the coach he should set up a play for our best player. he got the ball with time running out and he got the ball in a non scoring position i.e. 3 point line

bad rotations

gentry should've called a better play at the end of the 4th quater.

gentry left the second unit out there until the 5 min mark of the 4th.

I would fire you over Gentry any day.

I'd say give him more time, at least til the end of the year. I wouldn't mind seeing Majerle take over though because I'm sure he'd make the team a little bit more defensive orientated. There's just no excuse to having teams constantly go on double digit runs throughout games.
