Another Detroit Trade

Post#1 » by Piston Pete » Wed Jan 27, 2010 5:33 am

Rip / Prince / Ben Wallace / Maxiell

for

Kirilenko / Miles / Korver / Koufos / NYK pick

You get Rip and Prince, who instantly start at SG and SF, respectively, for you guys. Wallace gives you the defensive big man you want/need. Maxiell gives you a backup behind Milsap after Boozer walks this offseason.

Throw in Ford or GM and you have a deal, but no go on Dodge...

What if we made the NYK pick top-5 protected?

This will never happen, so whats the point of asking us? RIP is old and has a bad contract. Prince and AK are a wash. So no.

With how this team is playing right now, this trade would be absolutely foolish.

Thing is, you don't get squat for playing your best ball in January....

You also don't get squat for playing your best ball 2 years ago.

You proved my point.....make a trade that improves your team no matter how well you are playing NOW.
