No Roy, No oden's Junk

Jazz should make this an easy one, they need to keep playing their game and not let the Blazers steal this one.

Classic trap game for the Jazz. Let's hope they rise above it.

Why do you think the Jazz are favoured to win this one?
I know they are on a roll winning 7 of their last 8 games.
But the Jazz are still 8-12 on the road while the Blazers have a 16-8 home record.
Sure, Roy is out, but Aldridge, Bayless, Fernandez are all playing and also N.Batum is back for them.
That means they have a pretty good 9-man rotation.

So Im just asking...why do you think that this should be an easy Jazz win?
Life may not be the party we hoped for but while we are here we might as well dance!

If you have been watching how the Jazz have been playing lately, they should be able to beat any team in the league missing their best player. The Jazz are putting a much better line up on the floor tomorrow and ideally should win.

Roy out gives jazz fans some hope in this game. No win is easy in the rose garden especially for the jazz. But this game is winnable with the way the jazz are playing and with the blazers star player out. Jazz record against the division is terrible, they need to win this game to get some respect and they know it. If the jazz didn't bring one of their most energetic performances tomorrow night I would be surprised.

we ended our losing streak in San Antonio(twice) now we have to end our streak in Portland

As long as the Jazz protect the three they should be fine. Can't let Blake go crazy from downtown. Also, they need to make sure Bayless doesn't go off for some absurd amount.

When have the Jazz ever guarded the three point line? Not in their repertoire. The game will be extremely tough, as is every single road game and most home games this season.

Miller has been playing well lately. Bayless is fast, Rudy and Blake can shoot the 3, Aldridge always scores at will against us. This will be a very tough game. 2 weeks ago, I'd be sure we would lose. Right now, I like our chances.

Definite trap game tonight. If Jazz don't come mentally prepared, they don't win. Blazers have always given us a hard time, but if Jazz really wanna make a push in the playoffs, we gotta win this.

Funny thread guys and the word out of P-town is that Greg's naked junk might start tonight. It's definitely a better rebounder than Okur. :D

While you guys have been playing great, it is hard to tell which Blazer team will show up. Tonight's starting line up is the same one that beat a Spurs that had been hot in SA 5 weeks ago. Miller has been doing something of B-Roy light impression lately, but the keys to the Blazers are LMA and Bayless if those guys go off then Portland could surprise.

As well as the Jazz are playing right now, they're still lugging around that 8-12 road record and 2-7 record against division opponents. I'm not ready to start predicting road wins against quality opponents just yet. They may in 4th right now, but they're only two games ahead of 11th, quite a bit closer to 11th than 3rd in fact. Hopefully Sloan will leave grumpyface Miles on the bench.

No. I have no desire to. I'm content taking others' word on it.

Good to know. I guess some people are into sasquatch junk, it's just not for me... I honestly don't think it is a coincidence that Oden ends up in Portland, an area well known to be a possible home to bigfoot. :D
