Anyone know how he is doing in Spain this season?

Is he a prospect for next season as 12th man?

Hope he is doing well. I would think he is a long shot for the NBA for a while. He was so raw.

I dont expect Benga to be resigned so Elonu should be in camp next summer competing for the backup C position.

Thanks. Exactly the update I was looking for.

Not bad.

6.4 / 6.0 in 20 mpg on 59% with 1.3 blocks.

Hopefully he'll keep it up and be a young, cheap, 5th big next season in LA.

I dont expect Benga to resigned because if the Lakers do a trade for someone like Hinrich or sign a guy like Felton in the summer with the exception of resigning Fisher at a lower price all the remaining contracts the Lakers will add are going to be minimum level contracts whether its the Lakers second round pick in June or bringing in guys like Gaffney and Elonu.

I would expect DJ back before Powell though (Elonu will probably shake out more as a PF than C)

I agree with you that I do think LA will have 3 min guys next year to help with costs.

I've been keeping an eye on the DFenders...
Joe Crawford - G (17.7 ppg / 3.8 apg)
Diamon Simpson- F (16.5 ppg / 9.6 rpg)

Dacos will be a Laker next season

Besides Kobe who has the quickest offensive trigger this year... Dacos. He has been shooting a lot this year.

A mil a year for a legit big man who reminds the rest of the team what true hard times are and how blessed they are is a BARGAIN!
Lakers are 22-3 in OT last 6 seasons:Kobe best OT closer!

Not good, either. It's in the Spanish second division.
