Frankly, what Andrew's giving us right now is pretty damn solid, especially when Pau's been out and we need him to pick up the slack. I just don't think he's been better than Pau.

If Pau becomes Shaq from Bynum leaving and we get the next Jordan then of course Bynum should be traded.

Absolutely.

I want Bynum to mature so much on the defensive end.. besides the Lakers winning, the first stat I look at is how many rebounds he had. That's the biggest area he needs improvement, and it's just an effort thing with that.

It's my personal, no proof feeling that this is why Bynum isn't playing more now...
I think they want to make sure he's fully healthy come play-offs.

He has a tendency to kind of over-play when he gets on a roll... So why let him play himself out this early in the season. Pau plays because he knows how to let the game come to him.

I see it as an endless cycle...
Drew needs to play to be fully effective... He plays, his offense gets going.... His offense gets going, his defense improves.... His defense improves, he doesn't make stupid mistakes... He doesn't make stupid mistakes, he stays on the floor... On and on...

Problem is, our team doesn't have the luxury of letting him play through his issues/inconsistancies and let Pau grow mold on the bench.

Sucks for him, but that's what being mature and a professional is all about... You have to recognize the role you have on a team and the way you can have the most impact, and exploit it for all it's worth...

He should come off the bench like a cannon. Instead he seems to get completely out of the game on the bench and come in cold, confused and inneffective. And before you know it, he's picked up 2 quick fouls and is complaining to the refs.

Or when he starts, he plays awesome for about 4 minutes and then starts getting tired...

I tend to agree that if you add minutes to Drew and you find a way to still keep him healthy, he could become a best like we haven't seen in a while.

Problem is, that's probably not going to happen on the Lakers, and it's ultimately his responsability to adapt to that and make the beast of it. He's certainly getting paid enough...
