oh neither am i, i read it off netsdaily haha sorry
heres the netsdaily link

If what Al Iannazzone writes comes to pass, the Nets April 12 game vs. the Bobcats will be their last at the Meadowlands. Iannazzone reports the Nets and Devils could finalize a two-year lease “by the end of the week”. The remaining question is does that the NJSEA–or Gov. Chris Christie–waive the Nets’ $7.5 million lease penalty. Under certain circumstances, the lease can be forgiven.

During the preaseason, Nets games in Newark, New Jersey at the Prudential Center were well attended, and the team is currently trying to get out of their lease at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey to play home games in Newark next season.

And according to Bergen Record, it's becoming a closer reality. A team source tells the paper they could finalize a two-year lease by the end of the week, but they'll have to get a waiver from Governor Chris Christie to get out of their current lease at the Izod Center first.

The Nets have been woeful this season, but based on the crowds the team got in Newark, they may be able to profit more at Prudential Center because of increased attendance.

Of course, this is only a stopgap solution, as the team will likely head to Brooklyn for the 2012-2013 season.

I don't live in Jersey anymore, but I'm actually happy about this. Every time I'm home during the season, I make a point to get to a game if I can. Now I can take the train over to the game and not have to worry about driving. For me, it takes about the same time by train or by car. Because I won't have to pay for parking, I actually think it's cheaper for me to take the train too.

I'm very happy about this. Plus, the ROCK is beautiful. I've been there once and absolutely loved it.

I wonder how ticket prices will be though.

Sounds awesome. I am a Kansas boy as some of you know, but I will have to make a trip to Newark if our 2010 plans take shape!

So now this makes the Nets the second best team playing in Newark, behind Seton Hall?
