Favre tribute on Fox......
I thought it was absolutely amazing. The crappy part is I was at my parents all day and my father continues to hold off on getting tivo. Is there anyone who knows where to get that piece fox did before the game? Hopefully somebody will post it on youtube at some point. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I know some people think the media goes overboard with Favre. But he's truly one of a kind. Packer haters still like Favre. I loved Walter Payton while hating the Bears.
A majority of you have never seen the Packers without Favre. Enjoy it while you can. It was 30 years of misery between Starr and Favre.

I DVR that when channel 6 news played it again....
that video was a symbol to show that the day Favre retires he will be known as a legend....say all you want about Brady and Manning...Brett Favre is the best QB of all time you dont just put in the talent and stats but if you add his personality, charisma, high risk for high reward, and then you add in the stats and talent you have to say he is the best. Manning and Brady are so boring off the field.
People who hate Favre are just jealous ignorant people.

I missed it because I was on the road. I heard it was amazing though.

MRedd, can you throw it on youtube? I can barely hear the one that's on there where a guy is actually video taping his TV.

I thought it was really moving too, a little cheesy but still quite awesome for us Packer lovers. Other than how great it was, my one thought while watching it was, Wow....Wayne Gretzky got really old really fast.
Mickey, I get the feeling that you and I are around the same age, so I'm with you about the QBs other than Brett. I can remember Blair Keil and Jim Zorn and Rich Campbell and David Whitehurst and Randy Wright. Damn, didnt Dieter Brock start a game for the Packers?
About 2 weeks ago I watched "Favre 4Ever". Its an NFL Films dvd narrated by Billy Bob Thorton. Lots of good footage from high school and college up to today. Some really good interviews with teamates and some funny stuff with Jerry Glanville. If you have Netflix, they have it on there...definitely worth an hour of your time......ok, two hours, I watched it twice.

I remember journeying to Vet Stadium to see Anthony Dilweg/Blair Kiel battle the Eagles defense with Reggie White.
Although I was wearing a Packers jacket, it was the only time no one in Phily wanted to fight a visiting fan. We were just too pathetic to even bother.
And yes, we were shutout that day.
When NBC forced us to watch the alma maters of Dilweg and Kiel play the other day in some of the worst football you could imagine, I thought of those winners, and those days...
GOD I WISH FAVRE WOULD RETIRE SO WE CAN GET BACK TO THE AGE OF UNCERTAINTY AT QB AND NO NATIONAL MEDIA ATTENTION.....
