Here is a trade that helps all teams. Detroit and Memphis do it for sure. Detroit dumps salaries, Memphis improves their weak bench, and the Jazz get championship experience which they lack. The Jazz also keep Nyk pick in this deal.
Jazz get Hamilton and Ben Wallace
Detroit get Miles, Korver, and 1st round pick (from Memphis mid to late pick)
Memphis get Brewer
Jazz lineup:
PG Williams Price Gaines
SG Hamilton Matthews Price
C Memo Wallace Kosta Fess
PF Boozer Millsap AK-47
SF Ak-47 Hamilton Millsap
I really think adding veteran experience makes this team alot more dangerous to the Lakers in the Playoffs. Brewer playing well but Hamilton gives the Jazz a better chance to win it all. Many of you would prefer Prince over Hamilton but Detroit would want too much for him including NYK pick. Korver had to be included to make salaries match. It is a risk taking on Hamilton's contract but one championship would make it worth it. The Jazz also save luxury tax and if they decide to not take Ben Wallace in this deal and just Hamilton then save even more I woulf lke Ben Wallace as a back up center.

I really like this trade! The only problem I see is if Hamilton gets hurt, the jazz are thin at swing positions! Hamilton Kirlinko Mathews and Price when needed. Would Have to bring in a 13th player who is a swing.
Having Okur & Wallace at big would be a plus this year.

There is no way the pick should be in that deal. The Pistons should be begging people to take Rip Hamilton's contract off their hands. EDIT: I see now you meant the Memphis pick.
How does this save the Jazz on luxury tax? They send out Korver, Miles & Brewer at a total of ~11.6M and bring back Rip Hamilton and Ben Wallace at 12.9M. It also essentially rules out the Jazz re-signing Boozer.

Korver's shooting probably about 55% global and 60+% treys... do you really want to trade him?

No but necessary for trade for Hamilton for salaries to match. Hamilton can help the Jazz win a championship more than Korver.

You and Piston Pete should do lunch. I don't see the Jazz being interested in Hamilton's 4 years left--2 years past where the current CBA expires.
