Predicted West Playoff match ups

Post#1 » by HolyToledo » Fri Jan 29, 2010 6:51 am

Based on remaining schedule and number of road games left:

(1) Lakers 62-20 vs. (8) Houston 46-36
(2) Danver 56-26 vs. (7) Spurs 47-35
(3) Dallas 54-28 vs. (6) Blazers 48-34
(4) Utah 53-29 vs. (5) Hornets 50-32

I think the Hornets with alot of home games left make a run up the standings while the Spurs fall down because of age and amount of road games.
Top 4 seed in the West!!! Guaranteed!!!

I just dont see Memphis missing the playoffs. Jazz vs hornets would be a dream come true, but again, i dont think Hornets have enough in them to go all the way to 5th.

With all the money saving trades hornets seem to be pursuing right now, I wouldn't be surprised if they dropped out of the playoffs altogether. I think we'll end up in the 6th or 7th seed against denver or mavs at this point.

No way do the Hornets make it that far into the seeding.

Seriously, NO probably won't even make the playoffs, and if they do it will be as a 7th or 8th seed. The Thunder are legit and they aren't dropping out of the playoffs. Spurs are gonna finish with a better record than that.

Put Spurs in the 5 spot and Thunder in the 7 spot and it's more accurate.

I would have thought we're a little bit away from analyzing postseason matchups...

I think Memphis takes the Rockets spot. The Suns and Hornets could easily change places.

Return to Utah Jazz
