As totally insane as it seem and even though I know the Lakers are going to crush us the next game. I was happy to see Garnett actually moving half decent tonight which is pretty random coming off last nights performance. Let's fact it. We are nothing without him resembling his old self so that's my silver lining. Clearing our bench was worthless so we don't even need to discuss that part. They still need to learn how to run an offense. Hopefully that will come in due time.

I'm officially "regular season" worried.

We aren't playing well now, and the team doesn't look like a legit contender.

I'm not yet "Playoffs" worried because its a looong season and we haven't even hit the all star break yet.

If we get everyone back healthy and have a 10 game winning streak going into the playoffs, no one is going to be worried.

That "if" looks a lot bigger than it did at the start of the season though....

I turned the game on in the first quarter last night. I think we had a 9 point lead. Then Rondo turns the ball over and ATL makes a 3 point play. In the next possession the same thing. Then I turned off the TV because I am done watching stupid, no heart basketball...

Danny Ainge needs to fix our bench, but how? We don't have players to trade.

Wallace has been a disappointment like I expected. Davis is yet again out of shape. He still isn't comfortable shooting from the outside with this thumb still being wrapped.

Tony Allen is our best bench player right now but Doc can't find him more than 15 minutes a game. Why is this? Is it because Ray Allen is playing so great?

Eddie House has been short of awful this year.

Daniels will help a little when he gets back. Davis will get better in about of month once he gets in better game shape and starts hitting outside shots. Wallace is just lazy and crazy.

Is Bill Walker still on this team? We need his energy but Doc has been brain dead the last month.

We need a back up PG and a SF that can defend and hit the 3. We aren't even playing like a .500 team anymore.

Your a smart guy. Stop acting like a little boy when your team loses. Its a big deal for us to beat a contending team. Is that a problem?

quit trollin bro

IMO that's not trolling. It's a legit response to the complaint

I'm not mad. You just repeated that a couple hundred times, and it's kind of annoying. The bench is weak..we know. Daniels will help, ALOT, but not enough to solve any of our problems. We still need upgrades. You've made your point..now stop saying that..kaythanks.

Man you are soooooo correct......how can one take them seriously.......they bitch no matter what.
They bitch when the C's win......(it's How they won....Who won....What margin the win was). Now the team is having a bumpy ride, it's only the midway point, playing the top flight teams and they bitch about close losses.....so what they lost. They beat Atl in 08 and it meant nothing when the Playoffs came around.....this might be what this team needs to wake them up come this years Playoffs.....one never knows. Instead of bitching like a bunch of little girls.....sorry if I offend any little girls.....start backing the team with some positive stuff instead of gloom and doom **** all the fricking time. Nothing make some people happy. This team with all it's had to go through has only 15 loses and if it can keep it's health it's done a remarkable job. I for one hope the guys have better belief in themselves then some realGM's on this board.

Word Kefa..and they do believe in themselves.

“The words that we want to use, you guys can’t write in your column or put on this television,” he said. “But we’re going to get better. We’re too prideful, too competitive as men to go another route.”

I'll take KG's word for it. This team will get better.

Hey it is also kind of annoying when people keep thinking this team is fine and all they need to do is get healthy. This team has more issues than that.

Also this team had the best starting lineup two years ago. They do not now.

You forget that when healthy, everything will fall in it's place. If Big Baby is healthy, he would be playing like he did in last years playoffs. He would be making his jumper, and our second unit wouldn;t have such a tough time scoring. Paul Pierce is just now starting to get healthy. Kevin Garnett is still a great defender, and he isn't even 70%. When 100% healthy, he will beast on defense, and he will also give us more offensively. Not to mention the rebounding will be somewhat better. Daniels, not only give us scoring off the bench, he gives us a ball handler, and that makes Eddie's game better. When healthy, we will play better basketball. That's for sure. As for our starting 5, I still believe they are the best. Only the Lakers can compete with us starting 5 wise and tht's because of Kobe. But still... I'd take Paul over Artest, Rondo over Fisher, and KG(healthy) over Gasol. Perkins is way better defensively then Bynum, and Bynum is better offensively. So that's a wash. If the Hawks would start Crawford, they would have a better starting 5 than us. That's just my opinion. If you don't think so, than w/e...I'm not surprised.

BRUNiNHO91 I know KG believes what he says. However believing and physically being able to perform the tasks are two different things. KG probably thinks the celtics can win in a 7 game series against the hawks. The reality is this team is probably too old and too slow to complete with the hawks.

As for being healthy. It is getting to the point where we can stop saying "when"and start to say "if" they get healthy. Celtics best players are old and it may be time to expect that staying healthy is just not in the cards anymore.

As for the celtics vs Lakers roster. The Lakers roster is better. Why do I say this? They have Gasol and Artest miss a bunch of game yet they still are tied with the cavs for best record in the NBA.

Kefa, I know a win is a win but do you really feel better about this team after they beat the clippers, nets or a 8 man blazers team then turn around and lose to the Magic and Hawks? Even when this team wins it is ugly. I completely understand that every team will get an ugly win a few times against a team they should dominate; what is upsetting is that these are the only wins the celtics are getting. It also bothers me they have no beat a decent team since Christmas.

As for tomorrows game. I don't expect a win but if they do win that does not cover up or make me feel better about they way they have been playing the past month. They need to follow that win up with a 4 game wining streak to show me this team is back at some level.
Reggie stood out like a sore thumb no tattoos no agenda no chirping nothing Just a guy who could score at will He played college ball at Northeastern he replaced Larry as Celtics captain he belonged to Boston.
And I still miss him. Even now.

They might have a better roster. But they don't have a better starting 5. Atlanta has a better roster too. So do the Magic. But our starting 5 is better than all does teams starting 5's IMO. They can win without Gasol and Artest because they ahve Kobe Bryant, and the guy is amazing. Just like the Cavs won't really feel the absence of anybody, because LeBron is just too good, and will make up for it in any way necessary. You take LeBron and Kobe out from those teams, and they have no chance at a title. No chance. Boston on the other hand, can still compete even without KG, just like we did last year.

P.S anybody watching the Hawks play the Magic?Haha...no miracle shots by Crawford..no miracle shots by JJ..wide open shots are bricks. Against Boston they make half court shots with their eyes closed...if there was any doubt they step their game up, just to beat Boston, after this game there really shouldn't be any.

1......Every win counts.....we must win the Division for the seeding.
2......We can't go into the Playoffs hurt we have to be healthy.....when we are healthy...we are the best in the East.
3......We are a mind strong team....losing to an Atl in the regular season may scare posters here but I seriously doubt it will bother guys like ours who have been to the top.....they know what it takes to get the job done in the clutch and have proven it on the biggest stage in the NBA.

Now for tomorrows game and for any other game as long as this crew is together.....this Big 3 was put together to get a ring.....and they did it. I am STILL in HEAVEN over it. I still respect them for it.
I still appreciate it....I think some here don't. They don't care anymore about the 20 year wait. They say they do...but they really don't. Give these guys time to get healthy....I hope Danny does and I think he will....they will make a run and I hope it's a good one.
