My Durant- Lopez - Rondo - Zach Randolph strategy has paid off big time this year. I have 4 teams, 3 of those teams have all 4 of those players. The third team is completely different by just as dominant.

seems like a pretty fair trade...carter is pretty worthless right now though...but then again gasol is way more valuable then haywood...

I'll go ahead and make a sig bet that Mikal is better by RPM this year than Zach.

I just got offered Duncan for Jennings....think I should pull the trigger?

Im dying in assists and 3s tho...thats whats holding me back....Although Dunc will solve my FG% and rebounding issue...

I countered with Kidd and Duncan for nene and jennings...

getting sick and tired of jennings...dude sucks

are you kidding me duncan for jennings? dude you do that move EVERY TIME. Jennings is on a downward spiral and he kills you, absolutely kills you on shooting percentage.

Duncan is a top 30 fantasy player this year, Jennings is like a top 100 guy.

if you need assists there are options out there...first I'd try and find guys that are unlikely sources of assists at non-pg positions. For example Boris Diaw or someone like that. A Mike Miller type.

Heck, Duncan gets 3.2 assists per game from the center spot.

For help on threes you try and get Barnes or Webster or...I mean there are lots of options. Seriously you need to do that trade IMO.

I'm amazed how tight one of our H2H 12-team 9-cat leagues is. The 8th place team is only 4 games back of the #1 spot, and last week almost all the matchups went 5-4. I just hope it remains this competitive for the rest of the season.

wow that's pretty crazy, i'm in the exact same format league this year (I only do 1 team a year) and it's def the "haves" and the "have nots" for the most part. I'm part of a 3 team monster (sort of like Cavs, Boston, Magic) that has a .600 or better winning percentage. All 3 of us are within 1 game of each other. Luckily for me all I have to do is win my division to get the bye week in the playoffs -- I have a 10 game lead in the division.

But we have some horrible teams as well, we have 3 teams that are more than 20 games under. The other 6 teams are anywhere from a few under to a few over. Funny thing is we have an active league...those guys are trying to get better but they have just had too many injuries or drafted too poorly...

I have a pretty easy schedule the rest of the way (only 8 weeks left) so I'm def looking to wrap up the bye week and possibly claim the number 1 seed as well.

I'm doing crazy well this year as I lead the league in 3 cats (FT%, Rebounds, Steals), and I'm 2nd in points and 3's. Only cat I'm worse than 6th in is blocks -- I'm 10th in blocks out of 12.

I made a brilliant (and partly lucky) trade about two months ago when I sent Noah (who I stole in the 8th round of our draft) for Maggette and Curry. Noah has been good, but Curry and Maggette have been out of this world good for me.

Gallo, Lee and Chandler have been huge for me as well.

can't wait for the playoffs baby!

Yeah. It's a slugfest. Pretty good competition.

Calderon is def screwing me...

I just traded:

Rudy Gay
Marc Gasol

for

Danillo
Pau Gasol

I need Jack to get hurt so Calderon could be my starting point guard again and I can bench that scrub Jennings.

I picked up Blatche and Tmac 2 weeks before the deadline and it's payed off. I was also able to grab McGee after I realized that Jamison is gone, as well as DeAndre Jordan. I also grabbed Sergio by dropping Corey Brewer, who has been real solid, but a NY PG is too good to pass up.

12 team head to head 9 cat standard league with top 8 teams all battling it out, no clear leader.

Nash (2nd round draft)
Kobe (via Amare right after draft)
Granger (via Pierce/Ray Allen)
Sergio (waivers)
Chandler (via Frye 2 months ago)
Gallinari (via Bogut 2 weeks ago)
T-mac (off waivers)
Jennings (late draft pick)
Salmons (via Mike Miller a week ago)
Haywood (late draft pick)
J O'Neal (late draft pick)
Blatche (via waivers 2 weeks b4 trade)
McGee (via waivers after Jamison trade b4 the game where he started)
DeAndre Jordan (via waivers after last nights 6 foul 0-5 game dropped Jason Thompson b/c of Landry trade)

Team is stacked but barely on the borederline of 5th and missing playoffs

O.T.: Bracket Time ... What's Your Final Four?

Post#275 » by next2spike » Wed Mar 17, 2010 2:33 am

I'm rolling with:

Kansas (Def. Georgetown)
Kansas St. (Def. Vanderbilt - Would have 'Cuse over Vandy in the Sweet 16 but the injury to their big man is a huge blow. Their coach said he can't walk on it as of this afternoon)
Kentucky (Def. W.V.)
And my hardest pick of the four ... Baylor (Def. Duke - I had 'Nova Vs. Duke with Nova winning to go to the Final Four earlier - I may change back to that. I might have Louisville over Duke Second Round because I just love Pitino's style of play)

Kansas Vs. Kentucky ... Back to '08, Self Vs. Cali, Cali with another great PG in Wall.

Winner - Kentucky

First Round Upsets: UTEP over Butler, O.D. over Notre Dame, Siena over Purde.

I'm not sure how the First round is looking right now BUT if I'd have to guess I believe we'd have Nova, Ohio State, Kansas, Kentucky.

Ohio State upset win over Kansas.

Not sure how this will play out but in the Final Four, I have:
Kansas def. Syracuse
West Virginia def. Duke

Kansas def. West Virginia in National Championship. For tiebreaker my score is 86-79 lol, let's see how this all plays out. I actually did really well last year, but i do not think this year will be the same.
