Luther Head

Do you guys think Bird & Co. are gonna re-sign Head next year?

I ask because the Hawks could desperately use someone with defensive quickness and the ability to hit an open shot in those games where Bibby is getting trampled...It'd be a free 2nd rounder...?

I could see it going either way. We'll need people to fill roster spots and Luther will be a cheap option if we choose to re-sign him. Wouldn't be surprised if we let him walk though. There have been games where he has looked really impressive and then there are games where his shot is just broke. He is really quick and isn't too much of a liability on defense as long as he is guarding the PG spot. He's too small to guard most 2's though. And occasionally he has a tendency to just pound the ball until he's in a bad position and has to either chuck up a shot or throw a bad pass.

Sounds like a perfect fit for Mike Woodson.

I personally wouldn't want to see Head signed. He's done some good for us this season, but he's been trigger happy on more than one occasion.
