is it s a rivalry?

hey i havent been on here for a while, but do yall count the Hawks and Celtics as a rivalry? B/C the media (outside atlanta) keeps saying no. I dont hate anybody, but I really dont like the celtics orginization. Heinsons commentating was the last straw. I see it as a full blown rivalry.

No- the Celtics have bigger rivals than the Hawks. IF you aren't in the top 5 rivals of the other team then it isn't a rivarly.

No. Your rival is supposed to actually beat you every now and then.

regardless, the celtics still annoy the crap outta me. For me its a rivalry. Ever since, the playoffs 2 years ago, when KG decided he wanted to beat his chest like an animal and scream "F you" every time he made a simple layup. I live in chicago and only get to watch a few Hawks games a year, that one Celtic/Hawks game with that guy commentating a few weeks back. I think his name was Matt Heinson really did it in for me. I coudnt even enjoy the game b/c of his biased commentating. I still dont like the whole "Boston sucks" chant that went on last night though. It makes atlanta fans look rude.

I appreciated the Boston sucks chant we need something to motivate us as a stepping stone to the Eastern Conference Finals.

Return to Atlanta Hawks
