You Are The GM!

The Hawks have been playing amazing basketball this year. Our defense has been spectacular and our hustle on the boards has been impressive. We have been winning our games off of defensive plays, hustle, and break aways. In every aspect we have been above average. But there are two gaping holes for two things: perimeter defense and our entire halfcourt offense. I know that Woody preaches defense and doesn't care as much on offense. So in return we get iso's, which is not our strong point. We have at least 4 above average scorers on the court at all times, yet we let Joe handle the ball on iso's, that doesn't make sense. There are two options we could either do:

1) Trade Joe to get a more defensive minded 2 to see if Woody will start to get others (like Al) more involved in the offense. I was recently looking at a trade involving Philadelphia that would help us on the defensive end. Not sure philly would do this but:

Atlanta Gets: Andre Iguodala, Samuel Dalembert
Andre and Sam would both increase our perimeter and post defense. We wouldn't have to worry about the max with Andre and if Sam is unhappy with his role, we can save money he expires in 2011.

Philadelphia Gets: Joe Johnson, Zaza Pachulia, Jason Collins, 2010 1st
Philly gets their offensive player in Joe, Zaza is filler, Jason is expiring, and a 2010 1st as a sweetener.

ATL Roster:
Start: Mike Bibby / Andre Iguodala / Marvin Williams / Josh Smith / Al Horford
Bench: Jeff Teague / Jamal Crawford / Maurice Evans / Joe Smith / Samuel Dalembert

2) This option is more believable. We need to sign an offensive minded assistant that will be able to create plays and get all of our offensive talent utilized. We do not need to get rid of Woody, he knows this team, but he does need help. Not sure who we could sign, but Woody needs an assistant for this, we are being crippled by his lack of offense.

So... What do you think? Plan 1, 2, both, neither.

I think the trade is a smart one because in the offseason, we could resign Childress as backup 2/3. This also makes our team super versatile. Just look at the options.
Starting:
Bibby / Iggy / Williams / JSmoove / Al
Second:
Teague / Crawford / Childress / JSmith / Sam
Big Lineup:
Bibby / Iggy / Williams / Al / Sam
Small Lineup:
Teague / Crawford / Childress / JSmoove / Al
Offensive Lineup:
Bibby / Crawford / Iggy / JSmoove / Al

etc. There are so many options. I love this trade... I'm just not sure if Philly would do it.
