He might be sad or angry he didn't make the All-Star team

Still,no reason to have a game like this.We need a good game from him to beat the Celtics

the only one that matters is perkins. all the other matchups are going to be determined by his own effort and how much the team involves him. gasol, dalembert, murphy, those guys can't really stop drew or take it to him.

The only one that matters is Memphis. We have to hope that he survives without a knee injury.

His only bad games so far have been Cleveland & Philly. If those are the only 2 of the road trip I can live with that, but I'd like to start saying how rare it is he has a bad game than it being expected more often than not.

Yeah just sit him with a phantom injury. Nothing good ever happens at the Fedex forum.

Lakers should bench Bynum tomorrow vs Memphis

Post#14 » by MitchSlapped » Sun Jan 31, 2010 10:23 pm

For the last 2 years, every time the Lakers play Memphis in the winter Bynum has gotten into some sort of freak injury to his knee that caused him to miss most or the rest of the season. Memphis however has one of the best frontcourt duos in the league with Randolph-MarcGasol. Regardless of how much the Grizzlies have improves, I'm sure the Pau-Odom duo can get it done tomorrow.

I could never say that about KG. Even though he is a great player. In some way even in his prime he is Joakim Noah with a jump shot and a little better post game. Outside of that they have the exact same skill set.

Bynum came up big today against the Celtics. Player of the game in my opinion. There has been a lot of criticism about how Bynum falls short in big games against opposing bigs. Today he came to play for the entire time he was on the court.

I think his legs are back beneath him. It did take sometime but come midseason I hoped he'd be back to his physical best. You can see him trying to block multiple shots on the same possession and skying high for the boards.
