Royal Rumble 2010

Surprised no thread has been made about this yet. The only time I get truly, truly stoked about wrestling is at Rumble time. It's always been my favourite event since I was a kid; can't wait for tonight.

If you guys have been reading spoilers, please don't post them. With all the obvious endings in wrestling today, I like to go into the Rumble without a clue of whose going to win it.

I read this idea on another board and thought it was brilliant.

Have HBK and Michaels in ring when the 29th man comes in. Have them eliminate him, and then eliminate each other leaving the 30th man to just walk in the ring and win it. The 30th man would have to be a heel, and that heel would have to be Jericho as he's the one the crowd would get on the most. That way you've got awesome material for Jericho to work with up until WM, and a legit contender we haven't seen in the title hunt for a while.

That is a pretty cool idea, but I'd only go the Jericho route if Edge isn't healthy enough to come back. If that feud happens, its going to be dynamite.

Agreed sh00n the one event I always get excited about, even the years I didn't watch I'd always check back and see who won for **** and giggles.

I'd personally love to see Edge return tonight, but with the injury he had it's not possible. Cena did it without anyone knowing about it though, so who knows.

Thank God they made the Divas match a squash. Those things ruin the pacing of the events so badly.

CM Punk is a ****ing master. This guy is the total ****ing package. I'm enjoying this just as much as when Stone Cold eliminated everyone till Bret came out in 97.

Dude, for some reason I saw this coming, which is why I included it in the main post. They said last year that Cena would only be back for WM and he came back early, which is why I saw the same thing with Edge. I was expecting RVD to come out at some point but when his music hit I went ape ****.

Yeah, props for calling it, I didn't expect that at all.

I'm not even a big edge fan, respect the dude like crazy and would have rathered seen hbk take it, but how do you not like those results.

Y2J should win the title at the Elimination Chamber PPV next month setting up his match with Y2J at WM. I hope they keep the physical interaction between the two to a minimum until this match.

I PRAY WWE does this. Match of the Year if Edge and Y2J go at it.
