No Hassan?
Also don't really like the Kings pick, and I think Alabi is a bit high.

Most of the sources I've seen (ESPN, DX, nbadraft.net) have him staying in school.

I don't really see who else they would take...they need a 3rd big man who can play some D and Cousins is the best player/value that fits the bill at #7...a 3 man rotation of Hawes, JT and Cousins would be pretty sweet...
Two things about Alabi. First, guys with huge size and raw ability like him always rise as draft day gets closer...hell, if Thabeet can go #2 anything's possible for Alabi. Second, the Jazz need a defensive center badly, and have the personell to bring him along slowly if necessary.

The team that takes Willie Warren over Greg Monroe will not be very happy about it in retrospect.

By June, Cousins is going 1st overall and Favors will drop way down.

Nellie would trade that third pick before he drafted Favors.

I agree with you that Cousins will, in the end, be a better prospect/player then Favors. If I were in charge of the Warriors FO, I would take Cousins over Favors in a heartbeat. But Cousins is fundamentally a half court player, meaning if Nellie's still around he's not even going to be considered.
Soca wrote:Nellie would trade that third pick before he drafted Favors.
Why? Nellie loves those long, combo forwards that can play multiple positions. In our system, Favors would probably spend time at the 3, 4 and 5.

Re: gswhoops' Mock Draft (only lotto so far)
Have you watched Favors much this season? He is extremely raw. Favors is three years away from accomplishing anything in the nba, if anything at all.
Now is Nellie going to spend his last career nba draft pick on somebody won't have an immediate impact? I think not.

Favors is definitely raw, but so was A. Randolph on draft night. Didn't stop Nellie then.

Re: gswhoops' Mock Draft (only lotto so far)
Last time I checked Randolph was 14th pick in the draft. The risk factor at 14 is not even remotely close of taking Randolph in top 3-5.

A fair point. Who would you take instead?

I like Wall and Turner like Nellie probably does. But if both are gone the pick will likely be shopped imo.

Humor me for a second.
What if Wall and Turner go 1/2 and there are no viable trades for our pick? If you HAD to pick at #3, who would you choose?
