thoughts on 3 way with Heat & Bulls

Post#1 » by darbstar » Sun Jan 31, 2010 1:02 pm

HEAT trade Beasley, Oneil, Wright , 1st rd pick
receive Amare, Hinrich & Salmons

BULLS trade Hinrich, Salmons, T.Thomas, 1st rd pick
receive Beasley, J.Richardson,

SUNS trade Amare, J.Richardson,
recieve T.Thomas, Oneil, Wright & 2 x 1st rd picks

WHY: Suns dont want beasley but have been high on tyrus thomas for a while, get jermaines expiring contract and 2 first round picks! If they cant get Amare to re-sign this is a great way to rebuild for the future yet still have a current playoff team!

Bulls and Heat become immediate contenders!!!

what is eveyones thoughts???????????

think suns do extremely well with this trade! if they cant resign amare then what better do u honestly think u could get then 2 first rd draft picks, tyrus thomas and oneils 23 million expiring contract??? What do you mean what about Suns?? unfortunately that trade might push them slightly out of contention for this year (or maybe not) but it sure sets them up for next year and beyond

I think this post should be on the Amare trade thread, right?

Regardless of what Suns have said, we would need to get Beasley in that trade for sure.

We dump J-Rich, get salary relief, get Tyrus Thomas, and get two first round picks and we still need Beasley? That's not realistic.

I think so. Tyrus Thomas is not exactly the same super-athletic prospect he was when he came out of college. He has been in the league for 4 years, he still hasn't shown anything. At this point of his career, his career is merely closer to Stro Swift. The picks are most likely going to be mid to late first round picks with the addition of better talent.

Maybe cut the middle man Chicago out and see if Miami would take on J-Rich.

I don't mean add Beasley to what was in the proposal; I mean a trade centered around Beasley and a couple picks.

Any trade with the Bulls without Rose comming back = Bad for the Suns

D Rose is a top 5 untouchable. He carries that team.

Agreed. They have nothing valuable on that team.

I'd do something involving Noah but he's also fairly untouchable. Other than JoNo and Rose, anything else I'd see as a filler.

Trade makes no sense for the Heat. Why take on contracts when they can wait for Amare or Bosh this summer? Trade is great for Suns but I don't think it makes any sense for the Bulls to take JRich's bad contract.

Um Joakim Noah?

Luol Deng + Gibson + Johnson + Picks also hold value.
