Without trading up might have to settle for Dexter Pittman. Alabi is projected middle of the first round if he comes out at all. Sorry.

i watched Alabi a few times, for a 7 footer, he doesn't dominate the game, but he is productive and is athletic and is a 7 footer. i don't think he slips to the late first round. i think the Hawks best shot would be a guy like Gani Lawal, a highly productive senior classman who is athletic enough to play NBA defense, just like Taj Gibson is doing for the Bulls now.

BTW, Detroit played Orlando tough on Sunday with Ben Wallace at C. If you can't find a tall enough presence you should try to locate a strong and beefy enough presence to fight for position with other bigs.
