Don't look now....

Post#1 » by celticsnut » Mon Feb 1, 2010 6:03 pm

but the Raptors are only 4.5 behind us. I am literally scared that we don't win the division. We are playing that badly. I have said it numerous times and I will say it again, there is a small chance but a chance nonetheless that we can still win this season, but we really need to start to think about the future of this team. I am kind of at a lose for words. It is so frustrating to watch us. We can't score and we can't rebound at all.

If the Raptors win the division this year, I will do a self-imposed ban of going onto RealGM for 1 month.

I have more concerns about this team than whether or not they can win the division.
Reggie stood out like a sore thumb no tattoos no agenda no chirping nothing Just a guy who could score at will He played college ball at Northeastern he replaced Larry as Celtics captain he belonged to Boston.
And I still miss him. Even now.

I personally think we will win the division too, but some of you are so nieve to how badly we are right now.

Who cares. Let the premature ejaculator raptor fans think they have accomplished something before they get stomped out again. Then they can throw another division champs banner up before their best player bolts on their sorry ass franchise.

Well they have some easy games till allstar break...they could come 3-5 games behind...but they stand no chance to win the division.

One think just to remember...for sure we cant be worst than 3th, because ORL and ATL being in the same division. In the end I hope Orlando wins it.I would like Orlando in the second round, with home court advantage or without it, as long as we have Perkins to stop Howard we have the edge over Orlando. Let Atlanta cause problems to Cleveland in 2nd round.

Cleveland
Boston/Orlando
Orlando/Boston
Atlanta

Im ok with that!

Say by some total Boston collapse that the Raptors take the Atlantic Division. Even so, the Raptors DO NOT want any part of the Celtics in the playoffs even if they had homecourt advantage. Boston is just a nightmare matchup for the Raptors. Hopefully you guys move up instead of down. :)

Yes, we're playing so unbelievably terrible after losing by one point to the best team in the league...

See, I'm not a Celts fan at all and I understand the concern in Beantown right now, but losing to the Lakers is not shameful thing. As a Raps fan, we're hot now, but it is very hard to keep up that level of play all year. I wouldn't be surprised to see your team rail off 5-6 straight. I hope it doesn't happen, but Boston is still a contender in my eyes. I'll see myself out.

Wrong. The league changed the rule 3 years ago. Division winner can be seeded no lower than 3rd but if next best team in conference has a better record than division winner, they move into top 3.

You can thank the Nuggets and Mavs for that one
