I would LOVE Turner and Sanders. There might be some different SFs I would take over Singler though. If George, Hayward or Pondexter are there I definitely take them. Depending on fit I would consider Damion James over SIngler too.

Yeah, change Singler to George, James, Pondexter, Hobson, or Elliot Williams and I'd be pretty happy with that draft.

Worm - what do you feel is the best comparison then?

I hate using this name, but I think he's like a poor man's Amare Stoudemire, in that he's a guy who can really take advantage of a great passer. He's just so easy to set up in so many ways. He can beat his guy down the floor, he can finish at the rim, he can hit the open jump shot out to three point range.

I see where you're coming from with that comparison. He looks like the type of player that could really help maximize the talents of a terrific passer like Rubio. I see more David Lee than Amare, although it's far from guaranteed that he develops into the rebounder or passer that Lee did. He's not someone I'd take in the lottery, but if we didn't have Al and Love I'd consider him in the range that the CHA or Utah picks might end up.

Definitely. As talented as Singler is the team needs defence more then anything right now and it's just something Singler doesn't have.

I wouldnt necessarily take Singler, but assuming we already have drafted Turner, I would rather get a shooter added to the Turner/Brewer combination than defense. At the very least, Turner/Brewer will be average defenseively, but I believe their long range shooting would be below average.

Flynn/Turner/Brewer isn't great shooting, but I don't think you can treat them like Rondo and just completely sag off, they'll hit those shots.

Kevin Martin could remedy that :) Then look at bringing in Mike Miller for the MLE, if we didn't have any cap space.

Go for Paul George if he comes out or maybe someone like James Anderson. I don't have a problem with getting another shooter but the team has enough problems without adding a revolving door on the wings.

For drama whores, John Wall apparently had a mini-meltdown where he let down his PR guard and complained about Calipari being hard on him.

Nothing to worry about, and hopefully it leads to Wall playing better than he has in recent weeks since he's been underwhelming at best; but figured some of you would want to know since it's interesting.

I think everybody in front of the Wolves should pass on him, its not worth the risk

let Kahn with his renegade point guard drafting ways deal with him

my dream is to get Turner, then trade the 2 other firsts to get Aminu and snatch Varnado, hopefully in the 20s via cash or 2nds for a first from somebody poor.

imagine a Varnado/Aminu/Brewer/Turner/Flynn running lineup, if anybody tries to go small and run with us, they have a ton of length to try and finish around plus we still have a strong rebounding group with 5 athletic finishers.

If teams want to go traditional and bang with us, we bring in Big Al and Love and slide Aminu down to SF and roll out the best rebounding trio in the NBA so you better score on your first shot because its the only one you're gonna get.

YEAH!

I wouldn't mind getting Aminu as a 2nd prospect but the problem is, assuming Turner is the first pick, then the team would still have no shooters.

Love and Flynn are good shooters, and I think Turner is better than he's showing this season.

That depends on how Flynn progresses in that department and whether or not Brewer's January is a mirage. Turner's okay if he has time and his feet are set.

I'd be okay with Aminu, although I think that would mean dealing either Love or Jefferson. I think Aminu ends up being best utilized at PF.

Turner is a very good mid-range jump shooter. I have no reason to think he could not become a decent 3pt shooter.

We have not seen Turner in a system where he has other talented scorers and can feed off them instead of creating everything. I think his skillset would be great for the triangle.
