As much as I love seeing Sap play great, we need to keep Boozer if we can. Sap will not replace him as the number 1 or 2 scoring option on the team in every game. We would have to get one back in a trade (which isn't likely since we would be looking to get under the cap, and the quality of player we could get back and still do that won't be a 2nd scoring option, unless we can package somebody else in the deal) or find one that we currently have on the team. Deron is for sure a #1 option if he needs to be, AK is a solid 3rd option if he continues his hot play, Sap may be a 2nd option some nights, but I just don't see it being that consistent. Okur has become a shell of his former offensive self. He has his moments, but is hardly a 3rd scoring option like he has been, which I'm fine with, considering his marked defensive improvements.

Sap is an absolute steal for what we will be paying him in the years to come, and could surely be a starter. But we can't run our offense through him as much as we do through Boozer and expect to be as successful.

With the faceup game that Millsap showed the last two games, he can be a 20ppg guy in our offense. I am just fine with him being our 2nd option. The dude has really gotten himself in a position to be a big time player.

If it lasts throughout Boozer's injury and with him coming off the bench, I won't argue that.

If we are going to throw money, I would rather it be at Bosh then Boozer. I don't think Boozer will be the first one we go after, but we might end up with him any ways.
