Last 12 Games

Post#1 » by DFO » Thu Feb 4, 2010 3:52 pm

Over the past 12 games the Jazz are 11-1, with 9 of the games against teams that would be in the playoffs if they started today.

They have dominated the games statistically:

Points +150
Rebounds +35
Assists +101
Steals +19
Blocks +23
Turnovers -14

The team field goal percentage over the games is 53.1%, while their opponents are shooting 43%. Three point percentage is positive as well, 39.5% to 37.8%. Our free throw shooting is only 76.8% compared to our opponents 79.1%, but we have made 38 more free throws over the 12 games.

That is one pretty dominant stretch of basketball. Its funny how little coverage it gets on ESPN.

Why do you people even watch ESPN, too much junk to see a few seconds of content that may interest you, and unless it's a big game, they don't give it a lot of focus anyways. Ofcourse if it's pee wee football, it'll get a full block. It's ridiculous how they give football precedence in the offseason too. Damn man, show some basketball coverage, don't sweep it under the rug! I guess they know what they're doing though, but I'm definitely not their audience since I don't watch Football. I would suggest just looking at highlights on ESPN, NBA.com, and Yahoo if you want to see what they say about the Jazz after the games.

WOW Matthews has 8.9ppg in 17min/g? That's like 18ppg in starter minutes! He's also shooting great. Man you have to love that we got one of the best rookies, and he was undrafted. All these guys are playing pretty great per minute, and they all have one thing in common, they look like the dancers in a Michael Jackson video, they are an extension of Michael. They just are clicking so damn well, I've really seen few things a like in my life. Reminds me of the Pistons championship run, and when the Warriors were playing the Mavs, how nothing could go wrong. I really hope we can keep this up. It's would be so sad if we won a title without Malone and Stockton, while it'd be awesome, it'd be a little sad that it wasn't in their time. :-?
