I only know because I turned that game on specifically to watch him and try to get a read on his game only to find that he was a no show.

I know we've been down this road, but Brand's been playing really well for Philly the past couple of months.

Numbers for December: 32.0 MPG, 15.4 PPG, 7.3 RPG, 1.4 blks, .515 FG%
Numbers for January: 31.5 MPG, 15.0 PPG, 5.6 RPG, 1.2 blks, .497 FG%

And for the stat that shall go nameless on this board, Brand is close to 18 for the season.

Could we pull off a Diaw and Diop for Brand trade?
Humble yourself.

Those numbers still don't justify his contract.

Pass.

True, but he's A LOT closer to justifying his contract than either Diaw or Diop are. Combine those two and you get one, big, terribly bad contract.

I watched the Raps Vs Kings game yesterday, and I know it was only one game, but I came away not that impressed with JT. He doesn't look that big (shorter and leaner than Bosh for example) and played out of control for a lot of the game.

I know that Bosh is a super star, but he pretty much ate Thompsons lunch the whole game.

Thompson also found himself out of position a LOT on D which enabled CB4 a lot of easy looks.
